I have included shots of my current rosters, and have varied success in raids etc. I did reach a high of over 1400 cups, but as you can see my current level is just over 1000.
So any advice on:
Restructuring order
Absorbing ‘double ups’
Seeking certain heroes
Would be greatly appreciated.

Carry on with the top 4 and Kash. BT is a must have then take all those tokens youve put into the 2s and put them into BT.
Dont absorb your double up 4s you will need them later for wars. have fun

Would you suggest a particular Team order?
Usually healer in left corner.
Strongest on defence and health as tank.
Weakest of your 5 in the right corner.
Then your next 2 as flanks to your tank. With your team 1 id just swap Kahgan and Rigard around, but thats just me. Hopfully someone else helps out too

You want your hardest to kill hero or most powerful in the middle. Maybe that’s Khagan for now? You want fast snipers on the outsides because the outsides don’t get hit by many tiles so you want fast or very fast characters there. Your best fast snipers are Caedmon and Bane.
I’d go
Caedmon-Rigard-Khagan-Frida-Bane for now
