I like almost any kind of cake, but my favorites are cakes with chocole or coconut or fruits or the combination of these
I do not need a coffee now I have just finished my pumkin spiced hot chocolate
I will have a later.

Tags would have helped, but Discourse.org has a very primitive tag system ( see notes )
Most of the top forum goals / top forum records, are attached to badges
It is hard to search related badges since the topic’s creator has a private forum profile ( go them )
Though Discourse.org may deliberately avoid badges based on time / length to discourage topic necromancy

These are your target GOOOOOOALS
I will flag this post and see if any moderator wants to attempt a deeper dive into the stats, goals, or the current record holder for cake day
Volunteer moderators are an eclectic bunch
Do not get your hopes up ( see notes )
Even, if I were granted moderator status on this forum, I would not dive any deeper ( soooooo many reasons )
In the below quote replace “Hidden X” with “Hidden forum stats” for the most common reasons why Discourse.org hides some forum stats from users
Hidden warnings hidden moderation history
One of the first things a newbie chat mod runs into is the friend who wants a screen shot of their chat moderation history.
It is nature to be curious about how things work.
But trolls, and bored users, will often set up a game involving their moderation history. So most modern MMOs do not display moderation actions in public channels, do not allow users to view their own moderation history and kick any moderator who flagrantly abuses their status to send moderation history screen shots to other users.

Happy, happy 2nd Cake Day @PlayForFun!
Thank you very kindly for all that you do on the forum. I notice the high number of threads that you create, and posts including updates.
You are not joking around ( see notes )
The #1 thing that ever happened to Empires is Beta Beat, and I am including Atlantis Rising as #2 on that list and the setting up of an Empires and Puzzles forum as #3 ( 4 to 10 are our great forum staff, moderators, and content creators).
Thank you for your Beat Beat posts

I need to go to a diet afterwards
With a candle in there, calories don’t count.
We can always edit the thread title to extend the celebration again!
Let it flow sound of Frozen’s Let It Go in the background and see what happens. Btw for @PlayForFun !
summarize @Gryphonknight posts briefly for me?
It was forum software humor
As is Discourse.org software
Think math humor between math people
Please enjoy this chocolate fruit cake!
That hot chocolate flavour sounds nice! is a good choice too. I am a fan of cake, tea, and coffee.
From my part, let me celebrate your cake week with an invitation to have a Swiss specialty: meringue avec double crème de Gruyère.
Normally, it’s composed of two parts: of meringue (that is, habcsók in our common language), which is well-known everywhere in the world, I think, and of cream, which is something I haven’t yet met anywhere else: so thick that a spoon stays standing upright if you stick it into the cream. 45% of fat content, I think. Just cream, pure and unadorned. You dip the meringue into the cream, and eat it. That’s it.
Fruit does not go traditionally with it, it’s there only because you said you like cake with fruit, so I want to regale you (you merit it well, thanks a lot for your work in the forum!). This dessert is usually eaten after a hearty classical Swiss meal of fondue, that is, special cheese melt in a dish in the centre of the table, and everyone sitting around dipping bits of stale bread into it, eating various pickled cucumbers or salads with it, and drinking things supposed to ease digestion (not water). I guess the Swiss approach with this is that if you are breaching all the good advice of health professionals, then at least breach them good and hard.
Sounds much worse than it is, especially with the stale bread, but this is in fact one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. So don’t be afraid if anyone invites you for a fondue!
And thanks a lot again for all you contribute to this community!
@Gartenerbsen Thanks a lot for helping us to celebrate @PlayForFun’s Cake Week.
I enjoyed reading your post, learning about two Swiss speciality dishes.
@PlayForFun deserves to be celebrated daily!
i’m bringing a savory cake - Philippine fried pork + veggie rolls, with “pansit” noodles
Jun 23, 2020 - Pancit Canton wrapped around with Lumpia Shanghai eggrolls

Yes! I think the more appreciation, and positive vibes shown for @PlayForFun, the better!
I suppose this thread is in danger of becoming dangerous to look at on an empty stomach.
I would love to try it. Next weekend, I’ll probably look up the recipe…
here you go i’ve made both components before… it’s putting them together that seems tough, but mainly because I am an uncoordinated clumsy goof lol

As it is Halloween this weekend:
Hah. we have the weekend dinner! Thanks a lot!
Let’s ramp up the Cake Week celebration for you!
Everyone, you are invited to a party with pot luck lunch/dinner for @PlayForFun’s Cake Week.
I’ll start:
I’m bringing Vietnamese rice paper rolls with two dipping sauces (a traditional Vietnamese one, and a non-traditional one). One plate of the traditional prawn rice paper rolls, and another plate with tofu rolls.
@PlayForFun Here’s something light and savoury before your next cake. I love how easy it is to customise rice paper rolls. So if you don’t care for rice paper rolls including prawns/tofu I can always make* chicken, fried pork chop, fried spring rolls, avocado, BBQ duck, grilled fish rice paper rolls instead.
I’d also love to offer some Vietnamese iced coffee too.
*Okay, maybe I buy the cooked meat from a Vietnamese/Chinese place, but I can do almost everything else!
Now I’d like to make myself rice paper rolls for lunch (but I’m feeling lazy).
A fresh round of tags for the party invitation!
