)
English isn’t my native language. I studied English and I’m still trying to improve it to know it better.
Anyway, one day I heard somewhere, in a movie or game, a word “duct tape”. I learned a new word, I was using it, great. The problem was that for a very long time I thought it is a “duck tape”. I didn’t think that it is weird, maybe there was a company with a duck as a logo and they named their product like this and since then this is a name for all adhesive tapes. (Like Velcro).
I wanted to look up more about this duck and I felt so stupid that it is a duct tape! Still funny though!

I feel that my written English is much better then my spoken English.
And sometimes I correct my posts (even a few days later!), because I noticed some mistakes. ^^
