I sometimes really dislike the lack of other reaction icons in this forum, it is as if you “like” something, you are really enjoying what you are seeing here, but in reality it’s a sense of sorrow, and yet if you don’t react to it, it’s like you are not acknowledging this piece of information’s existence either.
But to describe the way I feel about this, especially when a positive influence such as yours departs. I remembered back in high school year, in my English class, when we would read Romeo and Juliet, as a part of our Shakespearean studies. After the prince reprimanded both the Montague and Capulet Family members of what had transpired between the two families (e.g. the death of Romeo and Juliet, their children on opposite ends of their family feud).
All are punished
While we are not exactly at war with the developers, there is quite a bit of negative energy generated for a while with the way the game is headed and how people are reacting to these. @Gwniver 's presence on the forum, though not all of them cheerful or made to seem unnecessarily cheeful, were all well intended, and with no ill intent towards the other end of the argument, sprinkling some of that @Gwniver joy that only she knows how to, posters generally feel a lot more positive than they had when they came onto the forum to vent their latest misfortunes when it comes to different aspects of the game, after reading her replies to those posts.
Her departure from the game, even though only one of many players, greatly affects this community because of the intangibles, and that’s the positive energy she brings in to neutralize a large amount of the negative vibes this game and community has been experiencing and I think we are worse off because of it.
Appreciate what you do for the game, especially this community. You will be missed dearly.
Fitting day for the lovely red-head lass leaving the game for good. The forum will lose a lot of joy with you not here. Bring that spirit wherever you go, no doubt it will brighten somebody’s day.
When I saw what you were saying I wanted to skip reading your letter and just write something. I forced myself to read it and although I knew it was coming for you I’m still surprised and hurt for you.
While I 100% support you in your decision, it is definitely a sad day for myself and many others. You are not only a ray of light in the midst of the forum, but brightened many a day for me when I’ve read your posts and interactions. Thank you for always being supportive and caring to fellow players, while also standing up for what is right. I noticed what seemed to be a shift recently in your enjoyment, so I am glad that you’re taking care of yourself and removing something which doesn’t bring you that joy anymore. I’m so sorry to see you go @Gwniver , but I perfectly understand your decision. I’m not very active on the forum anymore, but I could tell the game didn’t bring happiness in your life anymore, and ultimately, happiness is what life should be about.
It’s a bittersweet moment, because all of us will sorely miss you, but also wish the best for you, and if it’s leaving, we must accept it and support it.
I’m sure you’ll do as much good or more wherever the wind takes you.

This is why many consider you the best poster on the forum. I had the same thought but only wanted this thread to be about someone many of the regulars are going to miss dearly. Bravo @NicoX, sometimes letting someone else say what needed to be said is the best decision.
