I recently aquired Gretel and I’ve got her almost to 3/60.

Looking at the new raid tournament and the addition of really fast mana offenses, I think Gretel could be useful in a defense team as her special hits 3 with damage and then when the main target gets to full mana she cuts it to half mana and deals an additional 21% for 3 turns. Plus she then gets a defense buff of 74% vs any specials that hit her, helping with her longevity.

(I read that Hansel has a similar special doing more damage but vs 1 target, I don’t have him)

Anyone using her in this way? I’ve not used her bar the odd late war team and I’m wondering what peoples thoughts are on her

Does the same as Hansel on 1 target.
Average mana due to splash minor damage to the sides of the target.

A good addition to any 4* team. Mana cutters are definitely welcomed in most teams.

I have Hansel (but not Gretel) Both are fabulous on attack teams, since you have a brain that can use their special on the right target at the right time. On defence teams they are alot less effective, since the coding is a lot less smart than you (hopefully :stuck_out_tongue: ) If you only have a few leveled heroes they are ok on defence, but there are many better options out there if you have choices.

I assumed the cut mana part of the special only hit the main target, not the spash damage ones.

Does it cut all 3 mana when they reach 100%?

If the buff hit all three she would be amazing on defence. But it doesn’t :frowning:

Yeah thats a shame… even if it was just hit 3 and 50% mana cut it would be good, could take off the 21% extra damage
