Okay, among the HOTMs, Perseus is one of the weakest imo. He’s good at 2000-2300 trophy but that’s it. He barely deals meaningful damage to higher ranks, even with +20% damage granted to the defense team. Sadly, he is my first 5* ever and I really like the illustration. It would be really exciting to see him buffed in the near future.
So, here’s my proposal. Let’s adopt Alice’s concept to Perseus because it would make it more complicated for any opponent to find a good time to heal their team given there’s one hero with Perseus’ mark who will also have the effect reset to bring around another annoying 4 turns.
Here’s current Perseus card:
First of all, the stat. It needs to be improved a bit. Then the damage, then the effect. So I would propose this for future revamp of Perseus:
735 / 708 / 1367
• Deals 365% damage to the target.
• The target gets -100% healing for 4 turns. This effect duration is reset if the target is healed. This effect cannot be dispelled.
• The caster and nearby allies get +63% defense for 4 turns.
The reset effect will make a huge difference as it will leave the opponent confused whether they must heal now or later. The sacrifice one has to make when they heal early is much more significant than before. This way, the presence of Perseus in a longer game could cause you to lose one hero at a time.
The buff is changed to compensate the still-relatively moderate damage for a single-target hitter.
