Fires starting all around (which hero to ascend?)

This falls into the “good problem to have” category. I’ve been fortunate in receiving several good fire heroes in the last few months. I’d appreciate some community thoughts and opinions on who/why you all would ascend next based upon my current Legendary roster. My play style is mostly war of attrition but that’s because I acquired good healers when I first started playing E&P so it was necessary then and I have mostly stayed with that style of play. I’m willing to change, there just hasn’t been a pressing reason to force the issue.

The main Characters I’m considering for my next Fire project are;

Chomper

D’Artagnan

Grazul

Russell

Sun Quan

My current thought for least to greatest are;

Russell – Just pulled him but he’s testing well with Jean Francios & attack buffers.

Sun Quan – Appears to do great damage to 3 and may have symmetry with Freya.

Chomper – Similar to Sun Quan for damage, but his minion passive isn’t as strong as I thought it would

be.

D’Artagnan – I haven’t been able to test him much yet. He could be my best Fire sniper considering overall damage.

Grazul – Most of my defenses are set. We run blue tanks so she would be a good flank, but I average 5 defenses per war, so I’m not sure her pro’s are needed/worth
