If this Hero is defeated during the first 4 turns of a battle, they are resurrected in the beginning of their next turn with 1% health. All status effects and stacks are removed when the Hero dies. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
Ability (if costume is available): Poison on Special Skill When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies receive ??? Poison damage over 4 turns.
Special Skill: Commodoreâs Revenge
Deals 385% damage to the target.
If the target has buffs, targets another enemy with buffs. If none of the other enemies have buffs, targets a random enemy. The damage is reduced on each consecutive hit. Each enemy can only be hit once.
All hit targets get -34% defense for 3 turns.

Or: How many summons are needed to get a Legendary Challenge Event Hero?
Itâs important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.
On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 2% chance of summoning Finley.
But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.
Some useful insights:
18 times out of 100, youâll get Finley by pull 100
63 times out of 100, youâll get Finley by pull 500
95 times out of 100, youâll get Finley by pull 1500
99 times out of 100, youâll get Finley by pull 2300
Putting that in Perspective
82 out of every 100 people wonât get Finley by the 100th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned times, 820,000 of those players wouldnât get Finley
5 out of every 100 people wonât get Finley by the 1500th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned times, 50,000 of those players wouldnât get Finley
More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these two threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If youâve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

In Defence, where do you think Finley is best used?
Iâm surprised no one has mentioned that Finley needs to be nerfed. He is completely broken. Itâs like starting PokĂŠmon sun/moon with a lvl 100, modest nature Mew (look it up and youâll know). Taking Finley on offense is like hitting the easy button. NERF. FINLEY. TODAY! @Petri
They did nerf himâŚby not giving him to anyone else havenât heard of a single pull for him yet, still early I guess. I donât have a problem with him thoughâŚTHANK YOU Mitsu!
PleaseâŚis he a strong hero, sure. I find him less annoying than GM. I have him and only really use him on offense if there is a buff casterâŚmostly that is Aegir defenses.
Defensively, I really canât think of a time he was a big problem. Sure, if your team is down in strength and you are buffed he can kill you but I really havenât ran into that. I raid against him every day and really donât see him as OP.
As a Mitsuko owner, I bravely take on Finley based defenses. Itâs very much entertaining.
But he indeed is the OP side, worst thing is that majority of heroes nowadays give any type of buff to make him jump. The -def on top of that is also a bit much⌠He would be fine if he worked more like Misandra - either have a chance to chain (maybe more that 40%) or make the jumps do minor dmg. For now itâs just way too obvious that they tried to make people pull for the least popular event by releasing an extremely strong hero to the pool.
Heâs a handful, no doubt, but nerfing is not the answer. There should always be some hero / obstacles around to make you learn to adjust, and he is a good one. There are many ways to beat him, and a great one is to work on timing of your specials that give buffs to self or allies (either making sure it will run out, or hold off on firing).
Besides, the Pirate crew really needed a better hero to boost interest.
I say, Bring on the 5* Holy pirate, and make it another strong one!
Many of yâall either donât listen or donât understand. Finley needs to be nerfed because heâs too strong on OFFENSE. He can win raids for you all by himself practically⌠That SHOULD NOT be a thing. A single hero should not be able to kill two/three enemies on his own and leave the rest crippled. Iâm sorry, but thatâs absolutely broken.
I honestly think the game should highly favor attackers. Because when we play, we are only the attacker; and losing sucks. Thatâs why you see so many complaints about bad boards and raids being unfair; because when you are the one actively playing, it sucks to lose.
It sucks a lot more than losing on defense, cuz thatâs just a statistic, you werenât actively involved in defending.
So itâs really a smart psychological thing to allow players to âwin moreâ by allowing them to win on offense. Players are happier that way.
I disagree. Sure, Finley will likely die if he fires after Elenaâs special has triggered. But first of all that means getting your slow hero to charge before a fast hero. Secondly he is still going to do a ton of damage and lower your defense before he goes down. And thirdly if you use him on attack obviously you wouldnât fire him while your opponent has a riposte buff active.
You can time Elenaâs special to Finleyâs, if you are an attacker.
And charge Elena and other hero to counter Finley. But this is more difficult, I agree, but this is a solution for someone who do not have Mitsuko.
Congrats! I also got him on a single coin pull. I was just wondering what were the probability to get him on a single pull when this boy showed up. Good lord!
But I have no scope, I just gave the last 6 I had to Ariel.
/end of bragging
To open the discussion a bit, so it seems Finley is very good in offense. What about in defense? I have seen him in many teams, but I donât know his synergies.
