In our current WAR there is a player that has hit us 4 times and still shows 1 flag. The WAR is not even to the half way mark how and why is this possible?

Oh, hang on. One of them hasn’t attacked yet. So it’s not us. Could be some other alliance with duplicately-named members though.
Most likely cause. This happened to us in our last war. Caused some confusion on our alliance at first and definitely made record keeping more difficult 
That could be weird that never has happened before but I have seen same name players in raids come to think of it
