Luxury problem here, but trying to decide between Erlang Shen and a second Anne for my next yellow 5-star project. Current thoughts: Anne is probably overall the better hero bc of the hit all and higher damage. But a nerf to Anne would be double bad. ES has the attack down buff and is a fast hit-three. My only other one in yellow is Faline. I have several W3K heroes leveled so don’t need the event buffs.
Other yellows (mostly LB & emblemed): Hachiko, Motega, Eloise, cGazelle, Matilda, Wolfgang, Zuri, Kara, Kullervo.
Anne is far more powerful and she has yet to be touched by the nerf hammer after nearly a year. She isn’t going anywhere, so I would max a second. Two Annes going off back to back usually means game over.
For me Xno is the proof that no hero is safe if it is considered a nerf could bring more money. And Anne does dominate high level defenses. What could save her is that she is a Challenge Festival hero and not Season hero. Then again they also nerfed Panther, though I would say she is still quite usable
Also, a second Anne will rarely kill the rest of your team, as she will kill one hero and she will stop, due to her hit not being on a hero with more than 50% health
I vote for ES. His mechanic of doing damage (650+) if the attack debuff is removed is ridiculously fun to play with, and synergizes well with other dispellers or attack debuffers. Meaning, you can trigger it yourself to deal 650+ damage to the hit targets.
Thanks everyone – appreciate the comments. It’s very close, but I’m going to go w the wisdom of the crowd. Erlang Shen is next up! Anne II will the next, provided I don’t pull some super-sweet yellow in the meantime.
