I have got an epic troop summon token from titan chest, this should guarantee epic or rate troop. Why I have received Brand hero?

You might have used a summon token?
I had only one token, received from titan chest golden troop token. I am not saving them as there is no point to save them, but I had a great hope for my first 4* troop, so I got a bit exited about it …
Look in your inventory (Not your hero roster) and see if there is a new troop there. You might have just missed the pop up.
