Lol. That’s not a scaffold, that’s a hangman’s platform. We build scaffolds to get my mom up higher so she can lay brick

She is building a house. It’s rammed earth adobe. Haybales as the second floor walls. But the first floor walls are at lest 8ft., so we have to raise a scaffold to where she can lay bricks.

Wow. Tell your mama I admire her. I laid a large brick patio once, and by the end of the summer I was the strongest I’ve ever been. I only had to carry the bricks across the yard, not up 8 ft!!! Will you live there when she’s done?

Yes, we will. We make the bricks with what is called a hydralic-ram. We use cement in the outer wall bricks, along with dirt and gravel. The dirt has to be perfectly moist to make them.
