Emojis should be allowed in the chats, alliance and global chat. Resorting to the ascii emojis is really an old way of dealing with this on modern devices where emoji keyboards are so common and built into iOS and Android. To be clear, I’m not talking about being able to upload gifs or anything like that, just being able to use the emoji unicode keyboard.
