A counter for this hero is already in place (Ciao Chan dark hero stealing buffs)
They did same with Hanitra dodge hero.
They include such effects only after they arent really as valuable as before 
You dont need Diaochan in order to counter Kara. A simple dispeller can do the job.

that as well, but dispell doesnt invite you to spend as stealing a taunt for yourself 
Wait, they thought the 4-turn taunt was overpowered so they reduced it to 3 for C Krampus? Fast forward a few months: 4 turn taunt for a widely available HOTM? Something isn’t computing here…

Hmmm seems alright wouldnt mind one … As for the nerf police … Krampus was more due to the whole Christmas family in general then the hero alone… Also there few purple heros that dispel first then hit… G.panther, kageburrito, ©sheshat, onyx , ametrine …

Agree with this. For those who already have a Ludwig, Krampus or Black knight this hero may be less important ( unless you’re playstyle on war attack includes bringing taunters Vs Alfrike etc and you need more to make up the numbers)
Very valid option for those that don’t have one of the premium taunts though

Potential partial counterpoint:
BK is a barbarian
Krampus is a sorcerer (or barbarian with costume)
Kara is a paladin
I mean, sure, that’s hardly everything but it seems a much better class fit for a taunter absorbing hits
It would explain some of the disparity in Kara’s defense rating vs BK and Krampus, presumably (which is odd) — Kara has notably lower defense, but higher whenever her class bonus is on.
If Kara gains mana on debuffs, would she gain mana from buff stealers like The Hatter? Also, would she be immune to corrosive burn from Asterius?

It’s funny, because I came across this post when it was corrected to ‘female’, and found it interesting that they had done two females in a row when they usually attempt to alternate between M/F.

Yes, they typically do, but they have done two females in a row at least once before. I can’t remember which two they were, but I remember it being a point of discussion at the time.

- October&November 2020: Zulag, Glenda (and I’m not sure what gender is Bai Yeong, seems male but with pandas nobody knows…)
