Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Thank you @PlayForFun

Baishu looked interesting. I know it is only the latest buff and the latest ailment but at fast mana it should prove handy and okish damage if no buffs and/or no ailments are exchanged.

The problem is that once the fight has progressed, this card will rarely do damage, it will be flipping ailments and buffs back and forth but ONLY the latest ailment and latest buff each time the card fires. It feels like slightly more is needed considering the caliber of the cards that have been released the past months and others in Beta.

So Baishu basically deals 400% damage to all at fast if no ailment lifted or buff stolen?

Should pair him with Snow White or Anabelle to remove everything and he does 400% to all

I like your way of thinking!

They are both crap for the moment

Kinda nice to see confirmation that all the Chinese/Lunar New Year Zodiac characters are all exclusively Legendary. In this instance, I get it.

That being said, I’m not shocked the rat is doing or has the potential of doing 400% damage to all enemies if both conditions are met. So essentially, we have to get lucky that our heroes go off first, give at least 1 ally a buff and at least 1 enemy a debuff to avoid getting hit with damage from an enemy Rat that could probably hit 50% to 70% mana on a bad cascade.

I love the lunar heroes!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

So, if there are buffs, then its a steal of the buffs and redistribute with no damage?

If the enemy has buffs AND you have ailments there is no damage, just a redistribution.

With the Aether Abilities being common it is very hard to see the enemy being completely without buffs.

Early in a battle it is easy to imagine no ailments.

Snake being the first of the Zodiac heroes that don’t have the Chinese word for its name (e.g. Shr) in the card name.

Xiao Qing, or probably “Little Cyan,” likely had its origins stemmed from the novel Legend of the White Snake, where she, a cyan colored snake, was the servant to Lady White (a White Snake), who befriended and fell in love with a mortal man Xu Xian. While her mistress and Xu did not ultimately shared a happy end together, she remained loyal and also served as a mentor / caretaker for their son Mengjiao.

He could be devastating in Cloverfield war.

Yep. Which is why I had already abandoned that entirely. It’s gotten so bad that my alliance of roughly 9/10 people only have 3 actively still participating for trash loot.

The “great new loot” was significantly better for a won war this time. Maybe too little too late, though. I got a big green ether and two different flavors of emblems.
