This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the new Season of Love Heroes.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

*There are a total of five (5) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for Season of Love.

*The names of the new heroes are:

  • Legendary: Cupido, Himeros, Phthonus
  • Epic: Voluptas
  • Rare: Zarola

:hugs: Family Bonus

Cupid Family

Cupid Family supports other families and realms.

  • Solo Heroes get +20% increase for any healing received. Team members are Solo Heroes if they have no family or realm members in the Team.

Event Hero Bonus

The members of this family have additional perks in the Season of Love event.

  • Deals 295% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies automatically cast Healing Gift on the character with least health in proportion to their max health on the opposing team when mana is full at the start of the turn during 3 turns.

Healing Gift

  • Recovers 20% health for the enemy with the lowest remaining HP in proportion to their max HP.

So does this mean that the hero affected by Healing Gift uses his/her attack on this like mindless attack or does the affected hero simply heal without affecting the manabar?

EDIT: I guess Xiatou is gonna be an amazing counter against this hero :sweat_smile:

it’s like mindless attack but instead of attacking allays it is healing opponents (so your heroes)

If that’s the case then that seems ridiculously OP. Fast mana speed and affects 3.

Yes, the opponent’s ability will be 20% healing of one of your heroes.
So their normal skill will be replaced, and they burn all mana when it is activated

Lucky ally, who gets a Healing Gift, gets a 20% heal when his mana bar is full. Instead of damage, get healing.

If all 3 targets activate, the lucky ally gets 3x Healing Gifts. That’s like 60% healing.

This is great if 3 targets are lethal killers.

This hero is going to be insanely OP. 3 x mindless attack at fast - just better! The 20% healing beats doing low damage to an opponent any day.

It is hard to read, but it is more complicated. It is a hero that makes enemies heal their enemies (which means - his allies). So it is a healer, but in an indirect way.
I understand that his skill works like casting “mindless attack”, but with enemy heal instead of ally damage. Interesting.
