I feel as though Krampus should be dark? Frosty being ice is a given, but with Krampy being evil…it would make a bit more sense?

Some players in Beta expected that, but since they hadn’t introduced a new Ice 5* for the seasonal events, I think that’s why we ended up with Krampus being Ice.

I thought about that after I commented. It would seem hard to keep a balance but also make sense during events. Like Halloween would seem reasonable to have fire and dark, spring to have nature and holy…either way, I’m excited to pull for him. Been saving gems and EHT’s for over a year since I didn’t get MN last year and with the introduction of new heroes makes it that much more exciting.

One problem is that if she casts her special on someone who already has a gift box, the timer is reset which makes things worse!

Most games I play usually solve this by letting delayed DOT stack like minions instead of overwriting like defense debuffs.

Overtime Devs usually add more powerful version. So the 4* version would be non cleansable and the 5* version would be non removable.

Basically an anti Kailani ( DOT bypasses defense buff )

Since the delayed DOT ( a popular version of DOT in several other games I play like BoH ) does zero damage if the fight ends before the delayed DOT fires, can be cleansed early by costume Tyrum, can be stopped by Gato’s special skill and loses half its effectiveness if the target is killed early ( including the initial direct damage ), I would buff the nearby damage from 142 to 285.

A LOT of my favorite games use delayed DOT and have for decades.

Additionally, Delayed DOT usually overwrites itself. Which in many situations means it effectively CLEANSES itself.

When there is a single boss ( looking at you rare tier challenge events ), or 1-2 remaining opponents, this heavily nerfs delayed DOT.

Especially if the A.I. is running Delayed DOT.

I didn’t think I’d get excited for a 3* but I love that Frosty is a healer now! We didn’t have a blue 3* healer before.

There’s only two classic heroes in Puzzle Combat that deal delayed DoT (one 4* and one 5*) and it’s dealt to the target only. Unlike E&P where it’s dealt to the target and nearby.

In that game though it can also stack over existing delayed DoT. I wish it was like that too for the bomb in E&P.

It’s not? I don’t play PC anymore, but I loved stacking up the explosives from Paladin. Carol’s presents don’t stack up like that? Terrible idea.

Yep – that’s also what I like about Paladin in Puzzle Combat. You can shoot his time bomb on the same target and he’ll plant a new one on top of an existing one without affecting the duration of that one.

Though on the other hand, he only hits his target. Carol and Jack hit target and nearby.

Krampus is flank not tank.

Remove BK “just a flesh wound” and he won’t be tank but flank.

• The Caster gets Taunt that prevents enemies from using Special Skills on the caster’s allies for 3 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.
• The caster gets +44% defence, and a further +15% +10% increase every time they are hit during 3 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.
• All allies get +30% attack for 3 turns.

Check out the stats & skills of Kramp, def 836 pre- emblem and average mana now add 10% minion HP buffers for each allies and then the taunt though now dispellable…this hero looks tanky enough to me…

And now, the next skill 44% increase in defense and futher increase every time he’s hit during 3 whopping turns…not dispellable, then I would ask myself where else would I put this, with higher chance to fire at least twice , (being a sorcerer, would possibly proc delays from his slash) and then when he fires all allies get attack boosts… I can imagine myself putting 2 very fast on his flanks…

Well that is my opinion, suggesting him to be flank wouldn’t change that.

Mother North - Santa - Alfrike - Krampus - G.Owl
will be an insane line up for rush attack war defense. Family bonus makes all the xmas heroes give 20%hp/20%attack minions.

Carol seems like a red Chao with delayed dmg. I guess it would be too powerful if she also created minions at fast speed. Seems decent since red only has Scarlett and Kelile for fast red 4*'s (not including Shale).

Frosty is the first 3* blue healer which will be useful in 3* tournaments.

I exhausted all my EHT’s during Morlovia (brag: got all Morlovia heroes except Victor!), but hopefully I will build up some more EHT’s before the Christmas seasonal event.

Wondering if Santa+1, PiB+1, cRigard+20, Proteus+10 and Noor 3/70 will work well in the xmas event? I will also have Freya at 3/70 by then (unless I get 2 more tabards). Where would you place Freya in this lineup? Maybe replace Santa or Proteus?

Noor is surprisingly strong and helped me through Morlovia and other events quite well, so I’d like to keep her in, if possible.

I’d love to get Krampus and Mother North! That’ll give me my dream team.

Beta Update

Krampus has returned for further testing in V33.5 of beta.

Balance changes:

• Defence & HP stats increased
• Attack stat decreased
• Attack Buff increased.

Carol & Frosty remain unchanged.
