This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the Instant Power Summon Portal.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Instant Power Summon

This is a new summon that includes the chance to summon Heroes that are already Ascended, Limit Broken and have their Talent Grid filled using Golden Emblems.

Every Summoned hero gets Free ascension levels.

Costumes are NOT included for the pulled heroes.

There is no chance to pull the Heroes of the Month from this portal.

The non legendary heroes summoned are counted towards Fated Summon.

The Special Skill level is at 8/8 for all summoned heroes regardless of the ascenion level.
So even a 1/30 2/1 Rare hero’s Special skill is at 8/8.

  • Second Limit Broken Twice and Fully Emblemed: 5.0%

* Heroes are emblemed with Golden emblem.

There is no chance to get the current Hero of the Month as bonus draw.

Note: The heroes which arrives fully emblemed are emblemed by always chosing the left talent nodes. Golden emblems are used for embleming so using Reset token no Emblems will be returned.

  • Note:
    • First Ascenion = Max level of Ascension 1 = 1/30 for Rare heroes, 1/40 for Epic heroes, 1/50 for Legendary heroes
    • Second Ascenion = Max level of Ascension 2 = 2/40 for Rare heroes, 2/50 for Epic heroes, 2/60 for Legendary heroes
    • Asceded Once: Frist level of Ascension 2 = 2/1 for Rare/Epic/Legendary heroes
    • Asceded Twice: Frist level of Ascension 3 = 3/1 for Rare/Epic/Legendary heroes

Bonus Ascension Material Chest

There is a no bonus Ascension Material Chest for the portal.

Summon Costs

The Summon Costs for Instant Power Summon:

  • Single Summon: 100 Instant Power Coins or 270 Gems
  • Summon x10: 2400 Gems

That was my first question. It’s an old list, so another feature aimed at QoL for lower spenders. I like it, though it’s not for me personally.

Cheaper than the basic crappy epic summon? Really? Color me surprised! And the same odds of pulling a legendary? Only issue here is the presence of the dang S1s. Costumes can be addressed with VO now.

Having read the details of this new Portal my first impression was that it was probably intended to help the new starters rather than low spenders. Anyone playing for a reasonable time would have maxed a few Rare Heroes which you are likely to get here with a 71% probability.

Might help new people to the game stay past the first week or so; but would miss the mark if it’s frequency was greater than monthly.

Fair point. Hopefully they update the hero list to broaden the appeal.

PFF, we seem to have a contradition here…

I’m guessing that the comma in quote #2 should not be there and “Costumes” should not be capitalised. :smiley:

Also minor typos.

Absolutely no criticism intended, and with long posts (and weird names), some mistakes are bound to creep in and it’s amazing you make so few ( especially as English is not your first language. ).

No idea how many languages you speak but I am fluent in only one :grin:

I badly mangle the basics in a couple of others, far, far worse than most other polyglots on here do to the English language :rofl:

On the upside, at least you know I read your posts :grin:

I think this is the main audience for this portal. Imagine a new player getting a fully ascended, even if outdated hero. That hero will be used for a long time until they fully develop a roster with much more depth. And even then that jumpstart to their roster can be huge.

I also like the idea of those with weaker rosters getting something from this portal with coins. I did a ten pull in beta. I would feed away 8 of the heroes I got. Those come with more xp than usual so that’s helpful. But I also got two heroes 2LB. that’s a big aether saver. One was a Wilbur. I already have two 1LB, but if I magically got one 2LB I’d level the costume, emblem, and use over the ones I have. It’s a sped up upgrade.

If you beat the odds and get a legendary hero fully limit broken, I would use some of these outdated heroes. I see aramis, erubus, and rayne (first few I scrolled by) who I may not level if I pulled them today. But if you give them to me at max power, I’ll use them. It changes the opportunity cost.
But those are double long odds.

Most players should avoid gem spending here. As a newer player, the lower gem cost and bypassing mats may be more desirable than getting a newer hero unleveled.

It’s a good addition to the game.

The biggest issue is when I saw first adlacension I thought we’d get a hero at 2/1 not 1/30 (or 40 or 50).

So you get can get a Hero who is ready to ascend but not actually ascended ??

Correct. I got mnesseus at 2/40. Carver at 1/30. But I also got gan ju at 3/50 so he must be fully ascended.
