Don’t get too attached
Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.
It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.
So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

This is new summon portal where you can summon for Aethers with Trainer heroes.
The possible outcomes of pulling in the portal:

Summons odds:

I wasn’t paying enough attention but looks like trainer hero rarity increases with combos.
One summon currently costs 10 aether crystals. 10x costs 90. 7% chance of doing a pull and getting an alpha aether. Due to the way this is gated, and unlike aethers 1.0 which you got from a quest, some players won’t have alpha aethers for a while.
This is screaming the portals arent pulling the same revenue as they once were and here is another way to create revenue. Honestly, this is something that would sit really bad with myself. Others might be great with it but I dont see anything good about this. It was stated the Aethers wouldnt be up for sale and hence, they’re always up for sale
For me, it wont matter too much being I’ve gone vc2p but still, I really dont like this at all and didnt like it when they did the 1st LBs
This move screams PAYWALLED and will only create bigger gap between those who spend, and those who don’t.
Zynga will definitely sell aether crystals in regular and FTW offers. More gambling.
Other games with this concept are more “humane”: give some from quests / events or farming certain (very difficult) maps to get super aethers, and selling some at comparatively higher prices.
Some even have “wheel of fortune” lucky draws offering a gamut of valuable stuff, with at least 2 spins free, and the rest purchased.
This is the first game with a portal for AM, for me.
The odds being what they are, it will be like pulling 3* heroes from a hero portal.
This will be the 1st time SG has made getting AM through a portal. Be careful guys, it’s just the beginning of what’s to come. I can only speak for myself but this will most likely be the end for me.
Just wait, they will be adding a LB to the troops soon. The LB will take them to level 34 and add 1 more level to each of the and will cost the same amount of mats and feeders to go from 30-34 as it does to go to from 1 to 29
