Hello forum my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a complaint softly straying
Left its seeds while I was playing
And the mission that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the thread of silence
In restless posts I walked alone
Narrow threads of whine and groan,
'neath the halo of a friendly host,
I turned my face unto the friendly post
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a flaming war
That split the core
And touched the thread of silence.
And in the naked screen I saw
Ten thousand players, maybe more.
People typing without speaking,
People reading without listening,
People writing posts that voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the thread of silence.
Fools said I, you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Read my posts that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the threads of silence
And the players bowed and prayed
To the rigged God they made.
And the flag flashed out its warning,
In the posts that it was forming.
And the flag said, the words of the profits
Are written on the issues walls
And content halls.
And whisper’d in the threads of silence.
