Thx, I will use these.
🐉 Dragonspire - Buildings (Watchtower, Storage buldings, Hatchery, Dragon Forge, Quarry and Fishery)
Not really limited on time. Just trying to get the most ‘bang for the buck.’ I’ve been able to keep level 2 going non-stop (on both accts) between farming for eggs and the raid/enemies chests.
How do you farm for eggs? I can’t figure out how to get more eggs…
If you replay any stages then it will give you some of them.
Idle chests also give you some Dragonling bundles.
I’ve done some rough time calculations for the operation hatchery 10 by adding up the days required for buildings and research, TL:DR, 151 days.
Draconspire 5-10 needs 1+7+20+26+28+30 days, hatchery 7-10 needs 1+2+3+4 days; Upgrading to dragonspire 10 requires 8999K dragonstone which can be stored in Dragonstone storage 8, 9, and 9, and levelling these from level 6 will take 1+1+1+2+2+2+3+3 days, Reasearch to open hatchery 10 will take 14 days (and this can be done while upgrading egg storage, for a modest 200 dragonlings, and to get on with levelling up a 2nd and 3rd hatchery).
So that’s 1+7+20+26+28+30 + 1+2+3+4 + 1+1+1+2+2+2+3+3 +14 = 151 (days, or 0.413 of a year but time to level up quarries etc. can also be added in).
So far Dragonspire has been open for 20 days and many players may have maxed their first rainbow 3(+)* team.
(I counted there to currently be 45 unique dragons).
I guess my plan now will be to store 2* wyrms and feed 1* wyrms to dragons, then, when the roster is full, I think I may hold back on use of hatchery 1 (and 2) until I’ve got some more 4*s to invest in.
It’ll be a long wait for hatcheries at lev 10 to open, and I’m wondering what there will be to do in the meantime.
Thanks for doing the math. So roughly 5 months. Of course with VIP you can do some things in parallel (such as upgrading Hatcheries to Lv. 9 while Dragonspire goes to Lv. 10, same for quarries, but you need to have Dragonstone Storages ready before upgrading Dragonspire). I did use lot of those VIP Timesavers (not any better use for them anyway) so I am now building Dragonspire Lv. 7 (~7 days until end). I have almost everything at Lv. 6 I wanted (one Dragon Forge is Lv. 3 and Fisheries are at Lv. 4 and 5, but don’t need more than one full Forge now and have full fish storages, so why more fish), so once my Dragonstone Storages are full I’ll use those timesavers to finish Dragonspire and start building other stuff, mainly Dragonstone Quarries, then storages, then waiting again and raids for Dragonstone.
Either way Dragonspire is of course the biggest bottleneck in getting to Hatchery Lv. 10.
and after that, unless drop rates or drop opportunities improve, a bigger bottleneck will be getting ascension items for the many 4 (and 5) *s that will result once our up to 3 hatchery 10s get cracking.
I’m not convinced that there’s a major reason to rush to get dragons, if those dragons are going to be held back.
True that. Though I am impatient and for me that is good enough reason . Also even once everything’s ready it takes 6 days to train anything and with 5% chance it can take quite a while to get 5* even with 3 Hatcheries running Lv. 10 training (and I will want to have at least one Hatchery training food).
But yeah, no rush. As I said, I am merely impatient and like to building stuff, plus those Timesavers have finally some use beyond occasional Forge speeding for Battle Items for Challenge Events.
Figure it will be June '25 before I get a level 10 hatchery up and running. Maybe May.
