I had another discussion for this but since then I have a better team, so I was wondering… i am at province 21 and I have completed stage 6… just wondering if i have a strong enough team to go all the way now or save my WE and wait?
Originally I struggled with the all purple enemy of 21:5 but used my 5 people up top on the screen shots and got through it fine.
EDIT: It is recommended that your 4* heroes get ascended for much better chances.
Yes, I think you have a good shot at finishing season 1 This is the team I’d recommend for the Dark Lord:
Rigard, Kailani, Melia, Hu Tao, Bane
Bring antidotes to clear ailments, turtle banners or dragon banners for a defense boost, some axes or bombs to lower enemy attack, and maybe some mana or health potions just in case Rigard isn’t charged when you need him. Revive scrolls can’t hurt either but if you bring them make sure you have health potions to heal your heroes after coming back.
EDIT; I did it with no items using the above team, except my 4* heroes were maxed:
I would bring Melia for more crit damage on tiles, Rigard cause best 4 star healer in the game, Kailani, Li Xiu, and Hu Tao. In terms of items, bring either regular antidotes or super antidotes, bombs, regular and minor mana pots because you want to keep both Kailani and Rigard regularly charged. It will take a while but with perseverance and your ability to manipulate the board to work in your favor, you will come out victorious.
But when it comes to Season 2, I found 3* durability to be a massive issue by the time I reached province 15 of Normal difficulty. I strongly recommend two to three 4*s of each color for season 2 Normal difficulty.
Exactly. Besides the above posts… I thought it’s a joke. How the hell to beat the Dark Lord with 3 heroes A3? I am one of the best players in this game when it comes to missions, but even I couldn’t beat the final boss with that team. If @DaveCozy beats the outpost before the last mission with that team, I will knee before him and call him master and I am the most stupid player in the world
Lol, can’t really replay an outpost and besides I think those give you some really odd opponents (either very far down in cups, sometimes your own alliance members, and even sometimes yourself). Bottom line the outposts are all easy, those should always be doable regardless of how far you are.
I could try to beat the Dark Lord with a 3.60 Rigard, 3.60 Li Xiu, Melia, Bane and Kailini though I’ll just need time to train up the other Li Xiu (not gonna train another Panda though)
The outpost cannot be replayed unfortunately, but your chances would be somewhere at 0,001% against full 4* team with Colen tank with those heroes (and no blues). And seriously now, I struggled with Dark Lord having 2 Drake 3/70. If you beat Dark Lord with those heroes and using whatever items you want, I will call you master and the best player in this world who made the impossible But before you try something like this, just see again the stats of DL. I am not in the game now, but if I remember correctly, has about 14000 HP. C’mon man, you know I respect you, but this is impossible.
@Wharflord has beaten the Dark Lord before with just 3*s, healing potions, and a miracle scroll It’s not impossible, but it’s certainly very difficult:
I entered the mission. 19020 HP. And the lords near him have vampiric touch. I am not even sure if I could succeed with those heroes maxed… No chance in hell with them 3/60.
I know that video. With Brienne and other 3* heroes I would choose, it is easy. Here it’s about certain heroes, the OP has. What to do with those? No attack buff, no -def, nothing. Suicide.
I looked closer at his rooster now (didn’t notice Brienne).
There is one way to defeat the Dark Lord. Rigard, because is the only healer and cleanser, Brienne, Miki and two yellows. I would say Bane and Li. With Miki and Brienne any yellow tile will devastate
The real problem here is he cannot reach that mission anyway. Not for now. P23 is very hard for those heroes. And the player doesn’t have an upgraded forge I guess. And the outpost is still unbeatable with what he has.
The right advice here for the player: work further with your base. Upgrade the forge. Finish all 4* heroes you have until 3/60 at least, if you don’t have AM. Miki 2/60. And then you could hope for 23 and Dark Lord. It is no rush…
With the 4*s at 3.60 it’s definitely not easy, but I think that having them at 4.70 would be doable. I’ll give it a try myself. Ofc my troops and emblem nodes will be different though.
My advice should be corrected to include Melia though, for the Crit boost, maybe Brienne for the attack boost. Together with their buffs I think the last level is definitely doable.
It will be very difficult though indeed, and I do agree that there is no rush in completing the campaign. No harm in waiting indeed.
When I bested the dark lord myself, iirc I used a rainbow team of 4*s lol, cuz I didn’t know any better about the benefits of color stacking. Along with bombs, antidotes, arrows and axes iirc.
I tested it out, and I did it! Using the heroes above at max level Only difference is I used Melia and Bane, instead of Li Xiu (three 3*s and two 4*s). No items used either! (I did get very lucky when Dark Lord missed those deathstrikes).
Granted my 4*s were maxed. Not a crazy amount of emblems on them though. Ditto my 3*s, they had emblems but not super emblemed either.
I do agree now though that those 4*s should be maxed for the best success chance
