There is space for three icons on bottom left. Please add Map to the top of the stack when in quest mode to avoid always having to go via base
Also vice versa - show quests icon in map.
There is plenty of irrational / non user friendly behavior in game, such as hiding quests icon in maps, however still showing raids, showing raids in quests and not showing map; suggesting “expand hero cap” or “fight anyway” on full hero roster, although 99% of the time you choose neither; showing att/def in PVP, hiding it in PVE, etc.
Unfortunately SG don’t give a ■■■■ to small enhancement that could make this game perfect, player suggestions are ignored - making proactive players give up to provide any additional improvement proposals.
