Good point but there is also the big possibility that the drop rate has a variation, that would explain why sometimes it rains/pours great items and then sometimes there is a drought.
It wouldn’t be too fair to have only 500 darts spread over the million players they have, add a couple zeros and make it fair for everyone.
But honestly i think they should implement a variation whereas your chance of getting an ascention item raises whenever you don’t get one, this way nobody will go through bad droughts. And on summons especially, for those who have spent 100’s of dollars it would be fair to raise the drop of a 5* , cause honestly there is nothing worse (except for a CASINO) than dropping a hundred bill and getting a bunch of dawas and carvers. It is like betting on a roulette table where you spread all over the table and everyone bets and then only one number is empty and that is where it hits and the house wins. This casino gambling summon model does not justify spending if you will never be guaranteed a hero, and they don’t disclose the drop % so you can imagine how low it is.
I love this game and i also love gambling on casinos, i have my budget and stick to it, but this may have given a lot of people trouble. 2 people in my alliance have literally killed themselves, fed all 80 maxed heroes to a tudan 2*
There is a video and it was sad to see, two were level 51, but they ruined their lives spending so much money trying to get some heroes, ended up in a serious debt and recorded deleting everything cause they just couldn’t and wouldn’t keep up. One spent almost 20k on the game, this is nonsense and if the game had a fair drop rate we wouldn’t see this sad problem happening to our players.
The game is fun and i still love it but honestly with this money laundring system it is dangerous too, please beware of this. If anyone is interested to see them feeding all 80 heroes away and deleting everything the video is on youtube. It is sad.
Yep, it is pretty sad. It’s also pretty sad that the devs ignore the problem and refuse to acknowledge it. Every single aspect of this game is very noticeably stacked against us (bring on the defender fanboys now), to the point of it being illegal except for some stupid loophole in the gambling laws. There are numerous threads like this, tracking horrible loot and never a single reply or answer. Say a bad word or have somebody’s feelers get hurt and they sure seem to have time to acknowledge that though.
If a person is spending 20K on a phone game and going into ‘serious debt’ that is indeed sad and quite reckless, to say the least. I don’t really agree with beating up on the game company though, as they dont hold 100% responsibility.
People such as this obviously have a gambling problem, but it could be easily transposed to any number of things (casino gambling, drugs and/or alcohol, pornography/■■■, food, money) that some among us struggle to control. As an individual who fights my own addiction issues, I’m CERTAINLY not without sympathy. The more we learn about the human brain and the hard-wiring responsible for illnesses like addiction, the more medicine and society have come to realize it is a legitimate medical issue, not a moral failing.
Just because I don’t shout and get angry about summoning odds does not mean that game companies carry NO responsibility regarding the addiction aspects of loot-box type games. I’m not sure what the resolution to problems such as these are. I remember the last time I was in a casino I saw some pamphlets about gambling addiction and included in it were places one could call/go to get help. One idea that MAY possibly help is some sort of option (in-game) that would allow a player to set self-imposed limits on their spending, and give some sort of time-frame that would have to pass before it could be changed. Not a solution, of course, but a small step that SG could take to at least acknowledging the issue of problem spending in mobile gaming. Thx for reading and have a great day
I hear ya bro. The rewards are disastrous. I only get that lousy summon token and trainer heroes each time. Only the once in a blue moon epic troop token. Only 2 x 4* AMs as of date. Less than 10 3* AMs that I can recall for all the months.
These types of behavior you mention can very likely be caused by a mental disease such as bipolar. If you have bipolar you experience I think called Mania or hypomania that causes people to become Reckless in spending sexual activities as well as have grandiose Andover inflated egos, this is a disease and these people can’t stop themselves, but hopefully someone in their support network will catch this before it gets out of hand.
