Here’s more data for very slow 5* on defense:

It’s an Alfrike 4-80+8 with +5% mana generation bonus from mana troops level 3 gets 1575 mana points and is not charged yet.

Her mana comes from 9 regular turns, 5 turns with -50% from C-Proteus and 5 turns of -34% from Treevil.

1575 = 900 x 1.05 + 500 x (1.05 - 0.50) + 500 x (1.05 - 0.34)

(sequence is 5 regular turns, then 4 turns with -50%, then 4 regular turns, 5 turns with -34%, then 1 turn with -50%)

Here’s a 5* ninja, Cobalt, from a raid battle on 25.09.2022 with no mana generation bonus that charged with 572 mana from 5 regular turns and 2 turns with -64% from Mist.

572 = 500 x 1.00 + 200 x (1.00 - 0.64)

=> that means that the new formula works perfectly for fast 5*, very slow 5* and 5* ninja charge 1.

Now, I just got data on an average speed hero, a Khiona 3-70 with +5% mana generation bonus from a mana troop level 3.

The plan is to get the 1167 mana and verify that Khiona is not charged yet.

~~Khiona’s mana comes from 8 regular turns, 6 turns with -64% and 1 turn with -24%.~~

1167 = 800 x 1.05 + 1 x (1.05 - 0.24) + 600 x (1.05 - 0.64)

Khiona’s mana actually comes from 9 regular turns, 5 turns with -64% and 1 turn with -24%, because Vivica cleansed the 6th turn of -64%.

As a result Khiona is actually charged from the ~~1167~~ 1231 mana .

In view of the perfect results of the new formula for the other 3 speeds, this is very ~~unexpected~~ expected.

~~Is it because Khiona is not maxed yet and only at 3-70?~~

We only checked for a fast 5* hero at 1-1 that 934 mana were enough to charge. We didn’t check yet, if 933 mana is insufficient for such unmaxed heroes.

Or did I make a mistake in my test or analysis? Wouldn’t be the first time, but I’ve checked the video 3 times now and Khiona indeed charges from [edit: yes, there was a mistake for this Khiona battle]

- 1 regular turn where she fired her special
- 1 turn with -24% from Orla
~~6~~5 turns with -64% from my 2 Mists~~7~~8 regular turns

If true, what would be the next surprise? Tiles give different amounts of mana to the defending 5* and 4* and other hero rarities?

edit: After checking again I found that Vivica fired during the 6th turn of the -64% mana generation sequence, which cleansed the -64% and therefore changed the mana that Khiona received there. Instead of the reduced mana gain at the end of the turn, Khiona got a regular turn of mana, which invalidates this test battle.
