I’m lacking 5* mats. I’ve been closing in on diamond but can’t stay for longer than a couple hours. Was thinking the family bonus might put me over the edge while waiting for more ascension mats. Eventually I’d like To have Sartana, Evelyn/Mother North, Guin, Zyn & Isarnia (not necessarily in that order) as my defense but for with what I’m working with and only able to add 4 stars any advice to make the final push is appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

Hi,
I’d remove Wilbur, Triton and Gaiderius. Although the first 2 are very good heroes, using tbem in the defending team may be a bit tricky. Your back bench is quite impressive. I am sure that team of Caedmon4/70-Proteus4/70-Vivica4/44-Grimm4/70-Boldtusk3/60 will do very well. (Get Boldtusk to top tier, you’ll never regret)
However to keep in diamond for long you’ll need 5* team with at least 3 on tier 4. Work towards Evelyn-Sartana-Vivica-Richard-Zimkitty, that should keep you in there forever.

Non of your options as they are now can hold you in diamond fella!
Diamond is full of beasts who have very strong rosters … you will wake up every day to find you droped to mid platinum with this options.

i find proteus great as an aggressive but not so much as a defennce , riguard would be better for defending

I find Proteus to be great hero as well as a real menace even on defense. Except his obvious strong points, I would like to underline another advantage he brings to your team. I’m talking about the fact that he is able to use his special against active riposte and get away unharmed… for my attack strategy that is a real problem…

I am in diamond continously for quater a year and I object I am a beast. I have 5 maxed 5* and a reasonable amount of 4* s. Also additional circa 15 5* on lower level. Even if I don’t touch and don’t do any attacks with my team, it will not drop under 2500. I think there is a myth that the top must be millionaires with 500 heroes roster. Everyone can compete on the top level. We are definitely humans in here.

Hardly you could last in diamond with your actual level but this isn’t a bad thing, you have great heroes and you’ll surely have the power to stay there once you’ll get the materials

I have the kind of heroes he has and It doesn’t hold me in diamond.
Not a myth at all but even you are a beast to me … I don’t have 5 5☆ heroes maxed and my 4☆ heroes are not all fully ascended like you

His heroes as mine are not ascended.
Try them in 3rd tier and let me know if they hold you in diamond
Edit: I also talking about his heroes in def now not the ones you are forming them guys.
Your formation is strong with fully ascended heroes I agree no douts.

Ah, I misunderstood your writings… I were thinking that you didn’t had 5/5 legendary at 4th ascension, not that you didn’t have any of them at 4th 
I hope that materials will come even in your way

With your roster and level you can at best raid your way up but your defense won’t be able to hold.
You have a good selection of heroes but they need to be maxed to be effective:
Richard
Sartana
Evelyn
Zim
Vivica
Once you have the above 5 heroes maxed. I am very sure you can hold your cups in diamond.

I got a 4050 tp roster and i still get kicked out diamond a few times a week. Key to keeping diamond is raiding a lot.

Key is the tank.
I have 3910 points. Rigard-Magni-Ares-Lianna-Leonidas.
I rarely get hit under 2400. Indeed, if I’m under 2500 I tend to gain points defending.
