Given the battle theme of the game, presumably an amputee would be easy to work in without much of a stretch.

Puzzle Combat has a hero with a cyborg arm.

Several fantasy series have characters with the magic equivalent, a crude mechanical version or both ( looking at you Sharing Knife by Lois McMaster Bujold ).
