rage Rage At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +15% attack, and a further 1% increase every time they are hit during 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Special Skill Damage Reduction
Received damage is reduced by -20% for the first 3 times this character recieves damage from Special Skills.
:hourglass: Ability: Increased Damage Against Boosted Health
After this character casts their Special Skill cast, all allies’ normal attacks and Special Skills deal +70% damage against targets with boosted health for 4 turns .
:dizzy: Special Skill: Innovative Lunge
  • Dispells buffs from the target.
  • Deals 410% damage to the target.
  • The target gets -60% defence against Nature for 4 turns.

:hugs: Family Bonus

Families give bonuses for each unique Hero of the same family in battle.

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

  • 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% / 45% chance to spawn an Underwild Gem on board when this hero casts Special Skill

Underwild Gem deals 50 damage to a random enemy each turn.

Underwild Gems can only be spawned on a normal shield on board that has the same element as this Hero.

Could have made him hit target and nearby, or add buff blocker. Maybe even give him the Poppy treatment and hit 4 random targets, dispelling as he goes.

Straight up disrespectful and lazy, if you ask me. Especially when you consider how they did with the original costume ideas, and made the costumed heroes different from the original.

I’ve been thinking of something witty to say about this but I can’t. It’s just sheer laziness. The only benefit is the stats boost, but I doubt anyone uses him except as a debuffer or Def down on the titan.

It takes 5 minutes to think of an alternative. I thought the Sonya / Caedmon costumes were great. Simple alternatives that did the opposite. Most of the s1 costumes made sense.

Since then it’s just been, in the main, the usual skill but turned up a little.

As I type, I’ve been thinking about it.

Why not make it

  • Hits target and nearby for 280%
  • Dispells buffs from target and nearby
  • Target and nearby get -54% down against nature for 3 turns.

We get our Evelyn alternative and a debuffer, but lose the debuff first. Simple.

I just don’t get it. It makes no business sense either - unless this is the devs way of rebelling against the suits.

This, I would say is the worse one, even worse than the round 1 S1 costumes.
10% less damage for 2% more EDD, yeah they smoking it.

His costume is lazy. 10% less of his attack and 2% higher on the elemental defense down. They could have done much better than that. Switch dispel to cleanse if they wanted to be lazy but still wanted to try.

Only thing they made him sort of useful is he’s barbarian, which is good for titans.

How about dispels buffs from all targets?

Or give him defense down as well as EDD?

So many things they could have done. The original is still superior, that fighter talent is much more useful than Barbarian.

I didn’t even open the portal this morning and now after reading the comments I don’t have an desire to at all… this certainly dosen’t peak my interest especially after the elemental portals where the anemic odds will be my demise.
Good luck to anyone who is pulling for a titan hero!

Ok I got to admit this one is crap.

I’m also surprised that they didn’t offer any cheap coin deals in the E&P Store for this portal. With the current decline in spending of some players and the uninteresting costumes in this portal, I expected Zynga to come up with very enticing deals to encourage spending / summons.

Old idea of mine

Costume phileas fogg
Class: cleric

Etiquette of a gentleman- mana speed fast

This hero’s skill changes depending on the mana charges of it’s allies

  • if no other allies’ mana is fully charged

Are you okay? (Speech bubble)

the ally with the lowest health gains 50% mana

Cleanses ailments from all allies

  • If at least one other ally has their mana fully charged

Pardon me! (Speech bubble)

removes status effects from all enemies

deals 230% damage to all enemies

dispels buffs from all enemies

Passive- After you: as long as this hero’s mana is fully charged, all other allies’ special skills except for the caster deals an additional +25% damage

Am I the only one that likes this costume? I mean, I have Elizabeth and Fogg already and getting the costume would make them both relevant again
