More Insights & Reading

I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:

If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

I feel like he has been nerfed because his wizard class made it so he would deal extra damage against enemies who have buffs, now he’s a druid with a conditional secondary skill. Making him a fighter or a rogue at slow mana would have been a better choice.

The OP is adjusted with the change in the passive.

his reflect is now 3 turns instead of 4
i don’t get why he got those nerfs

Thx, you are right. The OP is fixed.

His costume is the only one that seems more like a nerf.

yes, i hate the changes… and nor a mere 10% more damage and reflect

the class i can be ok with since it can enable him to charge in 9 tiles but that’s not a big considering everything else

But doesnt the costume passive mean he can hit 3 x 70% damage on top of the special damage? That passive is only active for the costume.

The portal doesn’t show the non-costumed versions to have the extra passives, but in reality both versions do (which was confirmed with the previous releases of C-Hathor, C-M’aat and C-Anubis). Wish they would fix that up in the portal so people wouldn’t get confused

Really? Does it work like this? I understood the wording as 3 chances for activating the passive so once it activates its done.
I don’t have any of these costumes to check

That isn’t a guarantee and even if it were, the damage to an enemy with one buff from the original wizard class would still be more, especially if it’s against a red enemy.

Passive means it has 3 chances to deal 70 % extra damage. So possible results are 0,1,2 or 3 activations. When getting the costume this passive is also applied to the base card. Because of that passive any further strengthening of Ahmose would have probably been too much.

So the base Ahmose also gets the passive that the new costume gets? If yes, then the original is superior in every way, shape and form.

Yes that’s correct, base versions for all these latest S5 and pirate costumes also get the perks.

I dont care which costume is better I just want him!

And HotM as well, where this issue was also adressed.

I just got him with his outfit and I was not impressed but he can do scary damage if RNG is on one’s side. So base Ahmose it is.

The custom version special can be activated with 3 matches with troop and bard hero, making it so much better than non custom version.

if playing in 4 1 style.
Ahmose, 4* green styx heroes (I forgot the name), Winifred and Smartounge. with the right troops, in 9 boards. you can turn on all your green hero skills. that would be a deadly combo.

Why do you find the bast version better in all aspects?
