But while I’m here - might as well tell you a few key bits about us :
We have a very special alliance here - & yes, everyone says so … then they join ours and see that when we say “special” we really mean it! (and no… not in the short bus meaning! ). You’d be happy to have the entire clan over for dinner and it would be one heck of a good time!
Character & personality is what matters to us most. We’re just as content with the 29 (oh ya - we only have 1 spot left!) ultra fabulous people we have than lowering our standards just for 1 more hitter.
When we say 100% participation… yep, another one you’ve heard often before… We mean it - Real life does happen, but not every day on every titan. Of the last 9 active titans only 1 player missed one titan (they were traveling with no signal - fair enough reason!). And we’ve won many wars simply based on our 100% participation. This is one alliance whose members realize that playing at this level, every flag counts!
We emphasize teamwork in our recruiting posts for a reason - it truly is what makes us different!

A fair question asked of me recently - Why indeed?
Real life
Originally we were a casual alliance. Over time we’ve grown into a much more competitive machine. One that, unfortunately, some of our long time members haven’t been able to keep up with. When once using your 3 flags to hit the titan every day was plenty, today clan members are expected to login & hit the titan at least 2x.day and preferably as a often as flags appear. Not everyone is into gaming as much as we are and we understand that. Fortunately we do have such wonderful people in our group that they recognize when it’s time to go…they give us notice, work with us in timing their exit. I’ve even helped one find a friendly casual alliance for her to keep playing in. You know you are a valued team member when your alliance Leader helps in finding you a new clan! .
Playing games is supposed to be fun and we try to ensure it remains that way for our members. When we are no longer the right fit for them, or they for us, it’s time to go looking for new team members, players who still have that drive & enthusiasm for the game.
Yes, it’s sad seeing old friends move on to other kinds of alliances. But it is also exciting to see who will be coming in, bringing fresh vitality to our wee part of the Empires and Puzzles world.

New members are always amazed to discover that we do as we say! A straight forward, no BS kind of clan:

War matching about to start… doesn’t mean you have to stop looking for your new home… only that the alliance you choose has to wait a couple of days before you join.
At East of the Equator we appreciate loyalty & commitment and so are quite content to wait until war is over for a player to join us.
The good ones are worth waiting for!
