Just want to inform that the game chat is incredibly slow since yesterday. Additionally, five minutes ago, a lot of persons from different languages (french and english) seemed to be together in the portuguese language section
Have you turned off your device and/ forced closed the app, then tried again?
Not sure about all the visitors in your section though! 
i have noticed that my chat is out in our alliance. its been just a circle all day rotating. i have updated the game and closed the app out and went back in but no change. Screen name madsnowman859 the alliance is psychedelic insanity
i have updated my game, signed out and then restarted my phone. issue with chat resolved
Also solved the problem
