So, just to be clear, I don’t work for Small Giant, and I’m not a lawyer. That said:
The timer on the event showing when the event ends has been visible for the entire time the event has been active.
If the timer on the event says 2 minutes left when you start a fight, the correct assumption is that you have those 2 minutes to finish the fight in order to receive event rewards for it.
I understand that you were hoping it would work differently. But due diligence on your part would have been to verify how it worked before spending money, rather than just blindly spending money and hoping for the best.
To follow up on your remaining commentary:
The Event Timer in no way addresses whether a battle started before the timer ends must also be completed before the timer ends. Your assumptions are just that…your assumption. However, the tier completion awards ARE clear that you receive those awards upon completion of tier. Nowhere does it say the tier must also be completed before the event timer ends and in fact, the game allows for you to enter and complete play until the game battle on that level is completed. If the level completed is Level 10 on the Legendary Tier as in my case, SG owes those Tier completion rewards. There is no event timer available once the level begins ( the battle timer is for ranking points not event completion) and, no, absolutely nothing says I have to calculate the time necessary to finish which cannot reasonably be done anyway. Again, it’s unbelievable that a company would want to fight over something that is easily resolved AND a fight they would LOSE if it were a legal one. I note that you don’t represent SG and are giving your view but the point stands if SG finds any comfort in your view.
On a basic note, it’s an old fashioned concept but you keep your customers happy if you want to continue to succeed.
