Capes: Isarnia to 3/70 or Boril to max?

Hi all, I was all set to give my Warm Capes to Boril (currently at 3/60). Then my TC 20 spit out Isarnia…

I have time to decide who gets the Scopes later on (I only have 4/6), so for now…

Should I ascend Boril to max, or bring Isarnia up to 3/70? I have 3 Capes, so once I get a 4th I will ascend one.

Priorities: Titans, War, Raid offense.

Titans:

My alliance is small and we’re only up to 4* Titans. I run a mono-Blue stack for Reds. Lepus, Kiril, Grimm, Triton, first Sonya, all emblemed, as they have the highest tile damage among all my Blues.

Boril probably won’t make it into my Blue stack until my alliance fights stronger Titans (this will take a while).

Any idea how strong Isarnia’s attack is at 3/70? Grimm already provides the defense down, but if Isarnia has a higher attack than maxed Sonya, for example, Isarnia makes it into my team.

Raids / Wars:

Let’s talk skills.

Boril and Cyprian (being leveled) are my only riposters.
Grimm and Gormek are my other defense debuffers.

I usually run 3/2 on raids/wars. For Blue, I usually use Lepus / Kiril and one of Grimm, Sonya, Triton; I can see Isarnia replacing Grimm sometimes, but I don’t see Boril replacing Grimm or Sonya as I usually find the defense debuff or dispel more useful.

My full roster:

  1. Blue
  • Boril 3/60
  • Isarnia 1/1
  • Lepus +2
  • Kiril +3
  • Grimm +7
  • Triton +6
  • Sonya +7
  • Aegir 3/70
  • Agwe 1/1
  • 2nd Sonya 1/1
  1. Purples:
  • Seshat +2
  • Proteus +18
  • 2nd Proteus +1
  • Sabina +12
  • Aeron 3/70
  • Domitia 1/1
  • Cyprian 1/1
  1. Yellow
  • Inari +1
  • Li Xiu +12
  • Chao +3
  • Rana 3/70
  1. Green
  • Margaret +1
  • Skittleskull +3
  • Jack O’Hare +7
  • Melendor +1
  • Gadeirus +1
  • Gregorion 3/70
  • Kashhrek 1/37 (current project)
  • Gobbler 1/1
  1. Red
  • Sir Lancelot +14
  • Gormek +9
  • Boldtusk +4
  • Scarlett +7
  • 2nd Boldtusk 2/30 (current project, planning to max)
  • 2nd Gormek 3/60 (not planning to ascend)

thanks, all

IMHO repost becomes less and less appealing as you progress through the game.

You are close enough on scopes to get Isarna ready to rock.

also, FWIW, you are way overpowered for your alliance. Unless you are the leader or trying to build something from the ground, you should be slapping 8*+ titans

thanks Cvs  yeah, I’ve been thinking that Boril and Cyprian will likely see use in the second half of War only… I have a similar problem with Purple, Cyprian and Domitia both popped out on the same day, and I decided to work on Domi first to 3/60 (though I have 7 trap tools, so it’s just a matter of delaying one by a few weeks).

and thanks. Yeah, I’ve gotten the same feedback elsewhere, that my roster is strong enough to take on better. But I’m quite attached to my alliance, and I’m not ready to leave them quite yet. Maybe as my roster grows and my board management skills improve (stupid bad boards)

Totally get it. I was in a similar position not long ago.

Not going to use this as a recruiting tool, but if you ever want to try out bigger titans (even for a few days to see what it’s like), you can come over to our alliance or training alliance to try your hand at the big boys.

@Cvs thanks, that’s really cool of you to invite me  will definitely let you know in case I change my mind

and thanks again for the advice!

with aegir u do not need a tank isarnia is the answer she is not to helpful at 3/70 becase she usually dies before firing but with titans u can use mana to get her fired

thanks, so Isarnia as she will be useful for Titans.

My Aegir is only at 3/70 though, but yeah he does the job decently well. I sometimes use Aegir + Kiril together on Raid offense and they help keep my team alive
