Cant join alliance because already asked?

A friend asked to join my alliance. As soon as an officer clicked on the accept, the message disappeared and my friend was not in. My friend cannot re-request because the request is pending. We cant accept the request because it no longer appears.

Suggestions?

How about:

  • Close the game and re-open.
  • Turn off the phone and restart.
  • Join another alliance, leave, then try join your alliance again.

Set it to open let your friend join and put invite only back

This is the solution, I have used this a lot of times to solve this problem.
