Like the title. I used to be able to exit the app during a raid or while farming to text someone back and go back to the app and continue my raid or farm. The last few times I’ve done that it has exited my battle and return to the game’s home screen
I’ve found for me that seems to be a phone memory thing.
My old phone would always restart at the home screen when popping back into the app.
My new phone will usually, resume the battle, but sometimes particular apps I switch to or things I do will seem to make it stop the battle when I return to the game.
So it might be something has changed with the game, but I’m wondering if something else on your phone might have changed, or if it’s a memory issue.
Does it happen after a fresh restart of your phone?

Great! Glad it was an easy fix. 
Guess that means we have to remember to restart our phones every now and then.
