Can anyone explain how Gargoyle family bonus works?

I used two gargoyle characters, so I was under the impression they were immune from poison and burn damage, except that is what took each of them out. I don’t understand this:

Did he actually take damage from poison?

Notice he doesn’t have a resistance, but is just immune.

I believe this is fine as he should be able to have the ailment but should take zero damage (similar to HOT in bloody battles).

They just don’t take damage from the DOT, the ailment still applies

I agree, the family bonus is worded in a confusing way. They still get the poison/burn/water damage ailment. When it’s time for the damage to be applied, you’ll see the Gargoyle passive proc and they will take 0 instead (depending on number of family members).

It is still subjected to corrosive poisons other effect which mana slow. Also having it like this, rayne’s poison can still spread
