Brain Power Required - can I max my new Wilbur in time?

I need some smart people to give me a steer here.

@zephyr1 @Garanwyn

Do you know any smart people?

Just kidding guys, don’t take it personally.

@Gryphonknight @kikyo you might be able to assist too.

I just pulled this handsome @Kerridoc lookalike. Can I get him ready to tank in the next tournament? My other options are Boldtusk or Gormek. Normally, Boldy would be fine, but the Bloody Battle rule is obviously a weakness.

So, here’s the sit-rep

Currently at 325.

300 tc19 in the pipeline

Approx 1000 recruits sat in tc11 and 400 in tc20

I’ve got 1100 rugged clothes.

8 farms - 1 x 20, 3 x 19, 5 x 18

What’s your feeling? Can I get him to 4’70 in 16 hours from…now?

Lemme run some numbers.

Well, let’s start with some info, so we can figure out how much more XP you need, and how much you have floating around:

3-25 to 3-60 is going to be 32,610 XP, and 4-1 to 4-70 is another 83,721. So you need roughly 116,331 XP to max.

For a mix of 1* from TC19, that would take about 746 feeders, and 12.5 hours.

You have an ample food bank in TC20, so I don’t think the math on that matters. And you have enough Rugged Clothes.

And it sounds like you have just about enough Recruits, plus you have a little time to farm in Atlantis Rises.

So I think it’s doable.

Whether it’s a good idea…

There’s actually a really cool spreadsheet by @thrashina that helps a lot:

That’s amazing.

It’s an exercise in pushing the envelope, even if it’s not the most logical way to burn resources

@zephyr1 @Garanwyn if I manage to succeed, I’ll write you a ditty

If you fail, you can write us a dirge.

Or you can just keep leveling, the changes will reflect in your Defense after the Tournament starts, just like in War.

115,744 XP by Thrashina’s tables. So, good enough for government work

And 877K food, so I totally agree that you’re in good shape there.

That looks like it’s whether one level of XP was counted or not, so I probably didn’t credit one level. :man_shrugging:

The magic of “add stuff up via Excel” is one of the good things that computers have brought us

I don’t think the issue was adding correctly, I think it’s an off-by-one error on whether I included the XP from the last level.

This is enough to level Wilbur from 4* 1.1 to 4* 4.80 . So yes.

I agree. There are 5 battle days.

While it is a 5* Tourney, no blue makes Wilbur sturdier.

On one hand, I off color, 1 day, power leveled my first Wilbur.

On the other hand, I spent most of Thursday same color, 1 day, power leveling a rainbow 5* 3.70 team and it gets boring and sore really quickly.

On the gripping hand, it is the spitting image of @Kerridoc. Who does not want to throw Kerridoc’s doppelgänger into a tourney full of 5* heroes like Panther, Hel, Gravemaker, Kageburado, Ranvir, Onatel, etc. ?

Notes

Click for note

4,533 / 2.12 for 4*
2,138 / 2 recruits per rugged clothes
1,069 = Rugged Clothes

1,069/ 50= 21.38 Legendary training to Extra fast ( see below).

( 400 -22 ) * 0.247= 93.366m food
93.366m / 34.6m= 2.698 x5* 4.80

Ha! Superb. Kerridoc would still lock 'em

If I had a red 5*, they’d obviously get the nod, but they evade me. I’ve got more redundant rings than an alarm clock in a vacuum.

Congrats on the pull @JonahTheBard. I’m still in the “maybe next time” crowd.
Good Luck leveling!!

Oh Wilbur was a fisherman
And some say a good catch too
Ol’ JB of the E and P
Oft wished that he had maxed two

Along now came a tournament
Of five stars and drop blue
From third tier and just twenty five
Did JB try and level through

The going went fair well at first
The rugged clothes burned fast
But soon the food was getting scarce
All wondered “will it last?”
