Beyond the Rainbow Challenge Event

Rules

  • There is no elemental reflect in the event.
  • The hero with lowest attack of each element received “Rainbow Enchantment” intermediate that give +100% Attack and 40% Mana Regen for the rest of the battle. This effect can’t be dispell and can be stacked with any other buff/ailment that increase/decrease attack. If there are 2 or more heroes that have lowest attack, the status effect will randomly place on one of those heroes.
  • All other heroes received “Rainbow Curse” intermediate that give -50% Attack and -20% Mana Regen for the rest of the battle. This effect can’t be dispell and can be stacked with any other buff/ailment that increase/decrease attack.
  • All heroes except Rainbow Family heroes received “Rainbow Elemental Change” intermediate that changes element of all heroes to a different element at start of every turn. This effect can’t be dispell. Element rotation: Holy → Dark → Fire → Nature → Ice —> Holy …
  • Note : The intermediate isn’t buff or ailment like the elemental change in Challange Festival event, so it can’t be blocked by anyway.
  • All Rainbow Family heroes gain +20% Atk/Def/Hp and don’t get element change in this event. (Other Challenge Event heroes don’t get this bonus. However, Rainbow Family heroes also don’t get the bonus in other Challenge Event as well. Like the Gargoyles event.)

    • Mana speed of elite is equal to bosses of the similar stage of Challenge Festival I.
    • The total enemy defeat score is equal to the similar stage of Challenge Festival I. (Since there are 5 enemy instead of 3, that mean each enemy give 60% of the similar stage of Challenge Festival I.)

    • Unlocked after completing 10th stage.
    • Use WE to attack the titan. WE cost is equal to 10th stage of that rarity.
    • The reward is similar to 10th stage of that rarity.

    • Fight Duration is 1 minute 30 seconds similar to Normal Titan.
    • The titan’s Atk/Def similar to “4* titan for rare”, “8* titan for epic” and “12* titan for legendary”.
    • Mana speed of the titan is equal to that Normal Titan.
    • The titan has Anti-Mono and Elemental Resistance passive. (See Family & Innate Ability)

I like it. Nice idea for a new hero family and new event.
Gets my vote ……
The only thing I would tweak is possibly the names of the heroes and change them to names similar to characters from the Wizard of Oz …

Some of these are most likely suited for defence only. Once in a blue moon I may find a mono element team, but usually it’s rainbow team. Although they are very annoying to fight in wars and you’ll need to really plan out what to use against them. It’s a luxury family that’s valued for raid D. Some of them are hard to use on offence

I think most of them are too slow for example orange, could be average speed. I currently play rainbow and would definitely have 0-3 against an Orange tank, but that’s a very specific situation

Which means she can at least deal 18% DD? She seems like a raid specialist on D

Purple- the hero to use against rainbow D

Indigo- also very colour dependent to make consistent hits. Against rainbow he’ll only be a one hit weak sniper

Blue- borderline OP with rainbow team.

Teal- only meant to be used on D. Tank hitter on offence

Green- although she is designed like a titan hero, she doesn’t really do it much. The - normal attack is wasted on titans because she can only deal as high as -18% normal attack

Beige is very situational. Don’t think I like the randomness and dependency of the enemies

Yellow- I don’t like gambling heroes, they fail me more often than perform for me. And it’s colour dependent RNG on top of normal RNG. He will be almost impossible to work with

Orange- she could be slow and be like goseck, but even then she’s very situational. 111% very slow damage against enemy rainbow is totally not worth it. She can be easily manipulated by rainbows, just tile dump and get ready to fire

Crimson- I liked this one, the double damage I find excessive for what he does

Red- not sure what to think of this. Didn’t like the blind trade-off

Magenta- same as green, her effectiveness on titans is halved

Vermillion- hard hitter, dependent on enemy team

Cyan- don’t like the scaling for the fiends, but I guess it’s for 3* tourneys

Turquoise- self buffer, meant as a last man standing kind of hero

If I would to chase these heroes I would want

Legendary- indigo, crimson, blue (only because I’m currently using rainbow)

Ironically I find Blue being ice to not be a good colour. Because in modes like MT, if you want high damage for mono, you pick pengi and Franz, so with Blue on this MT team, pengi won’t be buffed because he’s so glass cannon and everyone will be focusing on attack for him

Epic- magenta

Rare- turquoise

Overall, thank you very much for your thought.

In fact, I write these event idea in more than 1 years ago but I fix them so many time and didn’t post it .

Yes, if you play rainbow against her, she will do 110% damage and -18% def down. Yes, she and other Anti-Mono heroes are very weak against rainbow. However, they are very powerful against mono.

I also buff her as well. She is now apply more def down and also give atk up. She is the leader of the rainbow. She should be one of the most powerful among them.

In fact, there are 2 main type of Rainbow Family heroes.

  1. Anti-Mono - Strong against mono enemy.
  2. Rainbow Power - Strong when your team is rainbow.

You have to read their skill description again. For example, Orange

She deal more damage damage per number of different element of heroes in allies team not enemy team. That mean she will do 666% to all if your team is rainbow not against rainbow enemy team. You can also see the note at Purple’s skill description

I also buff green. She now also increase mana by 10% and also can enhance tile as well.

No, Indigo will hit 300% on 2 random targets against rainbow enemy.

I also remove Indigo’s dispell. I forget to remove that part. The dispell is Teal’s job. I also buff Teal.

However, I give another ability to Indigo that he has high chance to gain hp regen stack on each hit.

I am not sure if you understand how Teal skill’s the damage work or not.

He will do 400% against mono enemy, do 240% against 2-2-1 enemy and do only 80% against rainbow enemy.

I also buff him as well. He is now also block enemy buff and minion too.

Beige is designed to be a very powerful tank against mono attack team. How do you think about him as tank ?

Yes, I like him too . He is pretty unique. I think he is pretty overpower against mono enemy team.

Red is finisher. He will do extremely high damage against enemy with less than 50% hp. But if he can’t finish all enemy, you will have a problem .

Turquoise is desigend to be an upgrade version of An-Windr. How do you think about him on defense ?

That’s what I noticed as well, supposed to be an upgrade to an-windr. Not much comment, think he definitely stronger than A-W

I don’t really liked the scaling stats on minions. They’re already weaker in inherited stats, so to be dependent on enemies is quite hard to use

Yeah I mixed that up when writing it. So she will mostly do 222% damage against a mono team right?

I think yours is tedious to program. Not as complicated as mine but tedious

No, she doesn’t care what enemy team is. She always do 666% to all enemy if your team is rainbow and always do 222% to all enemy if your team is mono. Her and other Rainbow Power heroes has nothing to do with enemy team.

I know all Rainbow Power heroes’ skills are pretty similar to each other. But that are what they have to be. They have to be stronger when you play rainbow.

Beige is pretty like the Miriam and Midnight. He isn’t very good on offense but he is powerful tank. Of someone stack mono against him, he will be very strong. He summon x2 36%hp Hulda-like minion on himself, boost his hp by 600 and apply elemental reflect against that element.

How do you think about him as tank compare to the Miriam and Midnight ?

Who do you think is better tank ?
  • Beige
  • Miriam and Midnight

I still think M&M is better as she isn’t situational like beige

“All enemies get -5% defense against special skill,…” → “All enemies get -5% attack,…”

@Tidyup In fact, all 5 legendary Anti-Mono heroes are designed to be in their own defense team and 6 legendary Rainbow Power are designed to be in their own attack team.

  • Anti-Mono heroes defense team : Crimson - Violet - Beige - Teal - Indigo
  • Rainbow Power heroes attack team : Blue - Purple - Green - Yellow/Orange - Red

Yellow doesn’t work well with Orange but work well with Red.

I know you don’t like Yellow but in fact, he is pretty overpower when combo with multi hit hero like Red and Mr. Pengi. He do make them miss a lot but he will make those hit become as strong as sniper hit. Very gambled but very high average damage.

What attack team do you use if you have to attack the Anti-Mono heroes defense team in normal war ?
