I need to decide which Nature hero to take to 4th ascension. My starting team as of now is from left to right. Tarlak 3-70, Zimkitha 4-80, Richard 4-80, Drake Fong 4-80, Khiona 4-80.
I have 4 Nature heros at 3-70. Need help on who backs this team the best. I currently have Tarlak, Evelyn, Lianna, Zeline all sitting at 3-70 I am only 1 shield away from ascending so it will be very soon. Please let me know who you think fits the best and why you think that.
Tarlak, I’ve got a 4th ascension Lianna and I would trade her for a tier 4 Tarlak in an instant.
His attack up stacks with Zim. Aside from making your team hit freaky hard, he’s also the only healer on your list–plus he’s going to crush titans for you.
Zeline would be my second choice of this lot, although you already have lots of area hitters. She’s likely to outperform Tarlak on defense teams, but I’d rather have him for every other stage of the game.
Tarlak is a monster on Titans. Close to 100k pr. My biggest issue with Tarlak is that he is average and the other 3 are “Fast”. I know that can make a difference even getting up just 1 turn sooner. Like with my titans, zeline, evelyn, lianna always come up 1 turn faster. I’m glad to hear you would trade Lianna for Tarlak, that definitely helps
I like Lianna or Tarlak to compliment your current team.
Why Lianna: Zim and Khiona can boost Lianna’s already massive damage special. It may be overkill, but it sure is fun to watch her numbers for damage!
Why Tarlak: Provides a little extra healing and attack power for the hitters you currently have
Why not Evelyn: She works best when paired with other Nature heroes. She’s worth ascending if you prefer to have a really strong Nature team against Titans.
Why not Zeline: She is a great hero and she has her place. Not the best fit for this team build in my opinion. A great option though. Richard is a nice hitter and provides some -atk (like Zeline does) to the enemies so no need to really add Zeline.
Also worth noting healer wise. I have a 4-70 boldtusk, 4th ascension Vivica, 4-70 Rygard, 4-70 Kiril
Charge him by potion to have him ready before the others start their feast.

Somebody said in another topic, Tarlak will be the most valuable, since he will fight titans to get ascension things for all the others faster. That was the best argument imo.
Bigger hits, better titans, better loot, more ascensions.
A sniper only wins cups, Tarlak wins the game.

As long as your Defence is set, Tarlak. Otherwise Zeline.
Tarlak, once he gets to 8/8 special, helps on titans even at 3/70.
Love Tarlak like everyone but I might go with Lianna instead on defense team subbing in Vivica for Drake as well.
So even as far as an Offensive team, Tarlak is still probably the best bet then? Defense definitely makes sense. So do i need to move Tarlak to a flank position once he is ascended since he is a healer?
Would anyone arrange the team differently?
I’m far from an expert at this, but here’s how I’d rearrange it if you’re going to use Tarlak on defense…
Zim - Tarlak - Drake - Khiona ------ And I guess, Richard–if you have to 
Whatever you choose to do, Khiona is out of position currently.
To get max value from her she needs to be a flank, IMO.
Yes i agree Khiona is out of place. I struggle with the average vs. fast. That is the only reason she is on the edge. I will move her to flank though as she can boost Richard and Drake from the right flank.
So looks like it will be between Tarlak and Lianna. I have read that Lianna really needs to be maxxed to be deadly.
Yeah, because also if you’re thinking about continuing to use Richard in the future, he and Zeline’s debuff overwrites each other, so they aren’t really maxing out your buff/debuff game like Tarlak, or damage like Lianna.
So who do you prefer in place of Richard. I have a Frida, but she is only 3-70. I like to run a rainbow for Defense, should i not worry so much about that?

Maybe I’m just biased against the guy for some reason, since he’s the face of E&P and I feel like he’s kinda middle of the road. I’ve sat him at the end of my bench at level 1-1 and I’m leaning toward keeping him there indefinitely.
Don’t want to distract from your thread (since I know this isn’t the point!), but if you want to get into it, what do you like about him? His defense is gigantic, but I’d think his special would be underwhelming with his low attack rating. (Heeeeey! Maybe post Tarlak buff he’ll actually hit really freaking hard with that gigantic hammer!)
As for what you said, he’s probably significantly better to use on a defense team as your only blue than Frida. And tank is as good of a position for him as any. (I think my distaste for him might be a little irrational, and have something to do with the fact that he looks like he just stumbled out of Azeroth 
)
Absolutely nothing wrong with stacking 2 of the same color. My defense: Zim / Lianna / Khiona / Alasie / Red Hood … all maxed and 1-3 emblems on each (except for Red Hood) has kept me in the 2500 range and wins a lot of the defense battles it encounters.
I just can’t not chime in for Zeline here, she’s one of the best heroes in the game and maxing a sniper over her, or a titan specific hero over her I don’t agree with (even if they are some of the better ones). If you are already doing well vs titans, Tarlak can wait, he’s not a defensive threat. Lianna is solid for defense and offense, but simply not on the same level as Zeline. Max who you’d like for sure, but had to speak my peace for zel. As for your defense Zim - Zel - Rich - Khi - Drake
I would say Zeline as well…she’s a monster to go against.
Completely agree that she’s the better defensive hero, but you’re putting two heroes whose specials do the same debuff next to each other on that defense. As much as I like her, (and hate facing her) I don’t think his team benefits from her as much as yours or mine would.
