Balance is never gonna happen. Spenders keep spending. No need for balance.
SG does talk about metrics a lot, so I would be interested to learn more about how they define “balance” from a data perspective.
- Usage? on offense or on defense?
- Win ratio when using the hero?
- how does hero power play into this?
or maybe $$$ spent? 
percentage of copies of the hero fed into Soul Exchange? # of threads on forum calling for a buff?
The balance update threads from SG are almost hilarious. Making an already very strong hero even stronger while leaving the weaklings the same is NOT balancing. They ask us for feedback, but that’s just for show. They just drop the news and that’s where it ends.
I’m ok with that, but just stop pretending that balancing has anything to do with it.
