rage Rage At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +15% attack, and a further 1% increase every time they are hit during 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:no_entry_sign: Resists: This Hero has an innate resistance against status ailments that are from Minions.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Stunning Steel
  • Deals 370% damage to the target.
  • The target gets -75 accuracy for 2 turns. Chance to miss also applies to offensive Special Skills.
  • The target gets -75% decrease for any healing received for 2 turns.
  • Element Link gives all Holy allies +30% defense against Special Skills for 4 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.

Special thanks to @Garanwyn for assistance on summoning odds and proofreading for this section.

It’s important to remember that HOTM have very low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a HOTM.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 12.3% chance of summoning the HOTM.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 73 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 100
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 229
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 352

Putting that in Perspective

  • 27 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 270,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 229th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 229 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

I see his only role for titans ( high miss chance) since yellow doesnt have Miki or something similar, and again for that reason spell defense . Might be relevant for Mythic titans for same reason.

Panda is also relevant if you didnt get Malosi or Joon or Drake Fong yet.

Hmm. This guy sounds interesting enough. :thinking: Would make for an amusing all-blinders raid defense team with Joon, Drake Fong, Justice, this Bai Yeong hero and Neith, only… out of all base game 5*'s, Justice is the only one I don’t have yet in just over 2 years of playing this game, so, whoops. :sweat_smile:

Don’t forget about Justice, Neith, and Hu Tao as well. This panda covers a lot of bases already covered in yellow.

Panda is relevant because… finally, a Legendary Panda!! I need Bai Yeong just for that reason alone!

Still waiting on a Legendary Monkey though…

I think 75% accuracy drop is overkill. Ranvir is halved of Bai and he misses like 50% of the time. The healing drop is quite situational and timing heavy too. Would have prefer that he deals extra damage to dark instead, making him the first holy hero to deal extra to dark. What is with this biasness against holy by not giving them a strong elemental attack?

hope i can get this…yellow 5 star i have now just malosi , bad thing is bai yeong only damage one target like malosi :<…expecting balance with minor damage, 50p less healing 75p less accuracy…

I have Drake, Joon and costumed Joon. I don’t know where to put Bai Yeong. He may have the highest blind potency among all holy heroes and is also fast, but he only hits one with a damage skill multiplier inferior to the buffed Khagan who hits the target and nearby. He can’t be categorized as a proper sniper because of his low skill damage. I’d rather have a true sniper able to kill an injured target so as to eliminate a threat on the opposing side than have a blinded enemy hero who may still have a 25% chance not to miss or provide buffs or healing or cleanse to allies, i.e. Joon &/or his costume. He may somewhat be decent on field aid wars though. And since I am summoning from the portals less and less, I don’t think I’ll get him like how I got 3 Zoccs last month all from free pulls.

You need to open the map in the list of heroes and click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper-left corner. Then you will see a full-length image of the hero

A better version of Joon, which is interesting enough to pull for him.
Not a key hero, but definetely a good one expecially in attack.

Only downside… his class.

There’s overall better rangers to give your emblems to (Seshat, Athena, Evelyn, Finley) and i definetely would not pull for him for defence.

Still, worth dards without a doubt.
