I recently changed Alliances, and when I messaged in the Alliance chat, my Avatar was solid white and said I was level 4 (I’m level 29). My name was gone as well.
The problem stayed until I closed and restarted the app.
The same thing happened to another member who joined the Alliance.

Not sure if this is still happening; we saw this in my alliance too, but it could also be fixed by changing avatars.
