Mandolin. I love the sound and it’s a instrument I’d love to play. Alas, I’ve found I have no musical talent for instruments. I love to sing and I don’t scare the cat, so that’s a good thing

OBOE

The oboe is said to be one of the more difficult woodwind instruments to play . It first takes some time until the player can even produce a sound, and even then, a beginner has little ability to control it. … It would seem to be a challenging instrument

Yeah, this one isn’t on my bucket list

Seriously? It takes some time before you can even produce a sound?:joy::rofl:

Washboard The washboard is a corrugated device, typically made of metal, for cleansing clothes. It is used as a rhythm instrument by scraping the board with a piece of metal, one’s hand and nails, or other devices to produce a rasping sound. It’s used in traditional Cajun music and other types of folk music

I’m googling outside the box :grinning:

It probably became a ‘musical instrument’ after the menfolk couldn’t understand, or use it for, it’s original purpose.
