when season 2 has finished, Atlantic Portal will closed forever? or it appears once in month?

According to the recent AMA with the developers, which I’m too lazy to look up and link to at the moment, the Atlantis portal will continue to open monthly for the foreseeable future. How those of us who are close to finishing Atlantis will continue to gain enough coins to use it is still up in the air. There is a very real possibility that it will no longer be that helpful if you’ve finished all the Atlantis stages.
