Having a hard time deciding which to fully ascend. Looking at offense because I use D’Andre as my healer for defense. I have Skargremar fully leveled and thought Drake Fong would be a good complement with him. Drake also hits three, but Kushanku has mindless attack, but only works for two turns, so you have to wait longer potentially to really use him well. For yellows I have C. Roc, Ureaus, Justice and Vivica fully leveled.
Far better stats for Kushanku.
I don’t trust old heroes anymore, they’re just outdated.
My vote goes to Kushanku, without any doubt, even if kinda old too. Only for offense, of course. Charge heroes doesn’t fit well at defense.

Kushanku is great. Essentially VF MA. Can buy you time if timed right. I use him quite a bit.

If you had the Costume for Drake it would be a bit more of a challenge, but even then Kuskanku would win 
On defense CDrake would win, of course and against D´Andre even non costumes Drake would win, but then also Kushanku (which is not a great def hero) will be better than a rather old 4 star hero.
