Armor applied in combat


I am trying to understand how armor is applied during combat.
Especially when using skills
For me the skills do not take account of the colors
Ex: without def Magni Att 641 at 420% = 2692 damage
but on Red Colen 537 def 598 damage
on blue Grimm 531 def 661 damage
on Green Jean 558 def 602 damage
on yellow Musashi 542 def 605 damage

Someone has an idea of the same approximate formula of calculating the damage after applied armor



I don’t know the formula but I do know there is a significant random element, which explains the lack of a clean relationship in your data. You need to have a large dataset to estimate the function.
