(Another) Cry for Help with Soul Exchange 😱

OK, I need your help forum friends! Since my wishes for a red healer cough Garnet cough cough weren’t fulfilled it seems that I need to consider my options… Especially since I have easily 20 dupes that need to go to a good home.

Below I’ve added pictures of my 5* heroes that I am planning to level. They’re sorted into rainbow for the purpose of covenience and are not “final teams” But in the interest of politeness I have shrunk them down too! So, let’s get down to business…

1) The Hatter - As you will see, I have a dupe c.Lady of the Lake in waiting… Do I actually want to level her? Not really. So, why Hatter?

a) Far superior group dispel and steal compared to Fogg, but also will pair nicely with Fogg as another hitter - 420 + 400 on EDD? Great! Or… Dispel a taunt with Fogg, then steal everything else with Hatter!
b) Cleric Emblems prove problematic with c. Snow White & Prof. Lidenbrock in waiting… but the Prof. can wait.
c) Batting 4/5 for wonderland hero family bonus

2) Arco - I mean, everyone loves him, and he has the potential to be a great overhealer - ultimately though, he would replace c.LotL (2) and/or replace Lughaidh - leaving a free spot

a) Fiend conversion is never a bad thing, and he has incredibly chunky minions. There are however a lot of minion counters lurkingthese days though…
b) Has reasonable potential in my current roster, but I have no other gargoyles. But, do I really want a 3rd/4th green healer?

3) Milena - This is a sneaky one… conceptually, I really like her. Would likely sub in for either cSnow White (RIP full CF1 costume set) or cSkadi - I don’t know why but Skadi has just never done it for me!

a) I do technically need a blue healer/cleanser (sorry Rumpel), and have been waiting for someone like cAriel.
b) She theoretically has a more consistent cleanse/dispel compared to Snow White (even though I really like SW’s gameplay), and is theoretically more “rare” compared to Hatter
c) Still leaves me with a green void or LotL dupe

Hatter is a luxury hero, but is quite relevant despite the weaker stats. With so much dangerous buffs coming out, you need him to steal all those buffs at once.

IMO you need a very good reason NOT to pick Milena. If you can find that reason, you can start thinking about other options.

I stated in main forum but I’ll say it again: everyone who has no Milena should get her. She’s second behind Quartz with speed of her cleanse, but unlike Quartz she brings much more to the table, up to and including mana recharge. She also can heal and deal damage. Main point of battle is to survive and kill whatever you’re up against, and Milena can switch roles depending on situations.

The only reason not to take her is if you have no mats and long queue of blue 5* to upgrade (but for me she became top priority when I got her in Covenant, so who would you ascend ahead of her anyway). And she’s best investment because the combo of her skills ensures she won’t be obsolete anytime soon.

Arco is also great and personally I will grab him, but I have Milena and he’s less versatile than her.

I never understood the hype around The Hatter, but I got many hit-3 green (including W3K combo of Liu Bei an Guan Yu) and I can relegate dispel to other colors.

Honestly you don’t need a new legendary.

Level these very powerful heroes first you have already. This will take months….

For me: I will skip this SE, although Milena is the one and only to pick……why ?

Blue is my strongest colour. I have only 8 scopes and tinsel + hippo waiting to get maxed. Milena would have to wait till Christmas.

I have about 25 legendarys for SE. Not enough to throw around with.

Need more red healers

You’re telling me…! I only have Grazul and Red Hood as my 5* red “healers”, thankfully the Grazul buff will make a difference and she might bet bumped up the queue…

The advantage of Red Hood is of course the mana cut prevention, and being tied to ranger class feels relatively unique. But, she is also only as good as her minions, which aren’t that great

Grazul’s buff is nice at least, though, I hardly need another cleric…!
