Thinking of working on another 4* - probably Almur or Fura… trying to figure out which one to go with…
Almur is Fast, while Fura is Average
Fura has more power, but Almur has more Health. Their defense is fairly similiar, but a slight edge to Almur
Fura’s special for attack looks stronger (150% to all, compared to 120% to target and nearby). And as noted, her base attack is more powerful to start with.
Both reduce max health, but it looks like Fura reduces a touch more (100 to 75), but as noted above, Almur is Fast Mana, so eventually, he could potentially fire more often.
Almur offers an ailment against Nature to Target and Nearby Enemies. Fura reduces healing by 50% to all enemies.
So, to me, it looks like Almur would be more useful against a Titan or Blue Stacks, especially in cases where he is part of a Green Stack (anywhere from 3-5). Fura looks more useful for general attack, especially if she can be used in conjuction with any Defense Down hero (due to her high base attack).
Is there something I’m missing that makes one of them more valuable overall when compared to the other?
Why not both? Feed greens to Almur and purples to Fura. Or if these are the only 2 heroes you are leveling, then feed 3 colors to Almur and 2 colors to Fura.
Depending on the rest of your roster, Almur might be more versatile in use (titans, raids, war, tournament, events) whereas Fura might be less useful (tournaments, events, etc). Again, totally dependent on the rest of your heroes.
It lowers the defense against nature element. This stacks with regular defense down.
For example Buddy+Almur
Against green titans for example you would always wanna take Wilbur (regular def down) + Guardian Falcon (elemental def down). But taking wilbur and gormek wouldn’t make sense. They are both regular def downers, so one would just overwrite the effect of the other.
I’m a bit jealous. Almur is the S3 hero I want the most and the only 4 star I am still missing, actually
As B1gHeadAss said, why do you have to choose? To maximize your use of feeder heroes, best practice would be to be leveling 5 heroes simultaneously, feeding same color. If you use an off-color feeder, you only get 80% of the points.
Many people level 10 at the same time, feeding 2* to 5* heroes and 1* to 4* heroes. Overall, this is the best use of resources, but I am too impatient for that.
I find it quicker to level one hero (maybe 2) at a time, feeding 2* to the higher priority hero (usually based on star level). 3s/Costumes always get 1 feeders. The Rainbow same color feeding is nice - if you have enough space on your roster to collect 10 of each color.
I went with Almur - he’s been a big help for sure, even before he was maxed.
Fura has kind of fallen down the ranks… Working on Mist (4/47) now, and Jott might jump in ahead of Fura too. Jott+Nordri on a red titan sounds like some pretty good damage.
