A short update. We made a number of changes in version 15.1 to improve Alliance Wars matchmaking. I know that since then, the complaints have continued on this post.
Without dismissing your troubles, I want to make it very clear that we are seeing big improvements in the metrics. The average point difference between the alliances has dropped by about 20%. Perhaps more importantly, the amount of alliances who have lost 5 or more wars in a row has dropped by a whopping 70%.

We will keep monitoring the war points, and making adjustments. We have preliminary plans to slightly lower the effect of historical results next week, but we first want to wait until the results have stabilized, i.e. stopped improving.
