Isn’t throwing it the same as losing?
Hmm. Well TBH I didn’t even check our war score for that one, I just told the team that we weren’t participating and not to use any flags, and opted us out of wars after that. We scored a zero and nobody got any loot AFAIK. No idea whether or not it impacted our alliance’s war score.
A loss will, as I understand it, result in either a reduction or no change in war score.
The current war result will replace the war result from 20 wars ago (used to be 10). If you are replacing a win result from 20 wars ago with a loss then war score drops. If you are replacing a loss with a loss then no change.
Geez, if it goes back 20 wars… I’m thinking we probably won at least 13-14 of our last 20. Means that if we did get back into it, we’d still probably end up facing really strong teams.
Depends when you stopped. If you stopped before it changed from 10 to 20 (which was I believe not more than a few months ago) then you’ll probably start with either your last 10 (if it saves them) or zero.
Aah – searched and it was changed in Nov '19. 5 months ago.
Conversation has moved on, but I’d like to return to the previous discussion and thoughts on points distribution. I think I’ve managed to suss it out.
Left out names again, and truncated some of the data gathered as those are somewhat unnecessary for the specific thing we’re looking at.
The Points and Victory points are what the game designates. The aim is essentially to see how these figures are calculated with what data we have available to us.
Health designates the health of the characters. Specifically it’s the green bar above them which includes any percentage modification provided by troops.
Team health is the total health of the alliance.
Percentage of health contribution is the percentage the individual contributes to the alliance.
Share? is 1500 x Percentage of health contribution. This figure, when rounded up, does not match the total of Points and Victory points. Seeing this failed, I tried the final calculations.
1000 share? is 1000 x Percentage of health contribution.
500 share? is 500 x Percentage of health contribution
The final two columns are the 1000 share? and 500 share? figures rounded up.
Given all the above, the points of the individual team is percentage based depending on contribution to the overall alliance health.
UPDATE! Checking out our war opponent, and I think it might happen again this war! Gonna be a different result though, cause we might try some strategery…maybe…yep. strategery. Don’t tell, but our plan is going to go like this…
No fails, all 1 shots, take out the 2 weakest, blah blah blah, then hope they fail alot!
How do I move it? And how are wars calculated then, because this one is totally lopsided
Actually, war matchmaking uses the war score of each alliance. Both alliances have close to 70k war points, so only from the numbers it seems a pretty fair matchup.
Nevertheless, the other alliance might have had a few losses while your alliance won a few… Seems like you were just very unlucky this time. Wish you all the best and keep fighting!
We’ve lost last 2 wars, idk looks like an awful set up to me, why don’t they just tell us to bend over??
I am really sorry for your matchup. Don’t give up right now, maybe you manage to surprise your opponents.
Nope!! Only about 8 of our member our strong enough to take our 4300 teams!! Really would like someone to take a look at this complete BS
If you have Line I can you a video lol!!
The only way War matchmaking will be fixed is if it starts costing them money.
These are our numbers from start of current war.
|LW||LF||T||RF||RW||Health||P||BP||Points||Points 1||Points 2|
First 5 are health points of the 5 heroes for each team (LW LF T RF RW). Then the total for that team. Then the points allocated § and the bonus points (BP). Then total points for a 1-shot.
Points1 is points based on 500 split evenly and 1000 split based on health percentage. Points 2 is based on all split based on health percentage.
Points 2 comes out a lot closer but still a noticeable discrepancy. We have better than ten points more than both versions calculate out in total.
The health points are from the green bar above the hero, which factors in troops.
Your forgot a column for how much your alliance has spent on the game.
How did you calculate Points 2 specifically?
The second figures from my own post was:
(1000 x (percentage of health contribution)) + ( 500 x (percentage of health contribution))
From what I calculated from your data there was a two point discrepancy. Look at the row starting with 1081 (I tried to bold it but the formatting wouldn’t work). Both points value are one short using the way I calculated it.
|LW||LF||T||RF||RW||Health||P||BP||Points||Points 1||Points 2||Health verification||Percentage contribution||1000 x %||500 x %||1000 rounded||500 rounded|
11 for 7 ? And 11 strong people they have 3900 to 4500 we have 2.9 , 3.1 , 3.7, 3.9 4.1 , 4.2 , 4,2 . Huge joke
Seen mention of such mismatches in the other war matchmaking thread. That’s really unlucky.
I can only assume that the system ran out of alliances to match resulting in something so lopsided. Hopefully it works out better for the next one.
